The #5 seed Monument Mountain went 18-2 during the regular season. Came into the Championship matchup beating the 37th seed Gardner, beating a good Cathedral team, absolutely routing #13 Cohasset and upsetting #1 Holland Tech by 3 in the Final Four. The #6 seed Georgetown Middle/High School came off a 14-6 regular season record. They blew out first two opponents in the playoffs then proceed to beat 3rd seed Clinton by 1 and 2nd seed last year's D4 runner ups Bourne by 3. Each of these teams had great seasons and in the championship game Georgetown was up by game high 13 at the half. Monument turned the pressure up and started the second half on an 8-3 run. These two teams continued to battle throughout the 3rd and 4th quarters. With a timeout and 1:24 to go in the game Georgetown was up 54-51. After that there was a lid on the hoop for Monument leading to garbage time free throws for Georgetown as Loewen/Yones hit 7-8 down the stretch. The players listed made a huge impact why their respective teams got to play at the Tsongas Center.

He does a nice job directing traffic as a leader. He is quick with the ball, shifty, stride steps and gets downhill. On the other side of the ball he is great at beating guys to the spot, guarding different opponents and strips the ball even when the ball seems protected. He is a scorer that is able to make some tough baskets falling off balance, euro fake pass layup, active pivot foot split two defenders baseline layup and turnaround elbow jumper off a blob one more. His tenacity is unmatched and believe a D3 coach should grab this player before it's too late.

Quick handles in tight spaces and takes care of the basketball changing directions on a dime. He gets a ton of paint touches and draws fouls. He causes many turnovers getting tips and steals. Reminds me of Deshawn Faulk (Bridgewater-Rayhem) with his concentration on the ball defense. I would put this player in my top 10 All-Defensive team this season in MIAA. He is tough as nails, having to get his hand wrapped after a cut in the first half. Came back and didn't let it stop him from contributing in a big way to compete. He is a tremendous asset to any team in the state of Massachusetts.

A QB on varsity football and member of the baseball team an agile three sport athlete. Intelligent ascertaining the play as it happens, to determine what type of screen he should set on the ball. A bigger frame and strong getting through weak fouls with ease. A monster on the glass easily achieving double doubles on a consistent basis. I predict he will be a two-sport captain and have a monster year in basketball next year 25-26. In basketball if you are a D3 coach he may be able to help your team, so worth checking out.

Had an unbelievable shooting performance knocking down 7 three pointers. One of the best shooting performances I have seen this year any level especially at an important time in the season. A great quick release, explosive shooter but can take an opponent off the bounce. A fantastic rebounder anticipating the trajectory of the ball for a guard, with bounce. When the team needs him to guard tightly he is more than capable of staying in front of his man. D3 coaches should be watching his game or they will miss out.

A catch and release shooter, with a nice touch who gets to the free throw line. A rugged point guard who worked extremely hard to stay in front of Monument's top player or other opponent's point guards during the year. Reads the ball off the rim, moves well in the offense, gets rid of the ball quickly and had a few steals today. A top 3 option in Georgetown's offense.

Wants to get downhill, uses his shoulder/body to protect the ball. The floor general on this team but a Top 2 option in the scoring department. Finishes well at the rim with a few nice floaters today especially the one off the backboard. Had impressive turnaround “Dirk Nowitzki” step back fadeaway. Brendan has a chance to be a captain next year with his quality minutes and being a starter. He takes care of the basketball and is efficient in the dribble drive offense. High percentage free throws made going 7/8 today.
