Impressed at an in person viewing at a scrimmage in November. Then by tracking stats and highlights, he backed it up with a strong start to his high school career. Equally dangerous in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. Regularly made it rain from deep with multiple games of over three made three pointers. Smart mover off the ball to open shots, even comfortable backpedaling to the three point line and getting into his shot in one smooth motion. He's equally capable of scoring in bunches or playing set up man for his teammates. One of the best dribblers in the class, especially when factoring in his poise. Plays fast but never looks out of control, capable of shifting gears when attacking the mid-range with ball fakes and strong footworrk. His long range shooting ability is a crucial part of his profile, with the ability to stretch the floor. Rises off the floor quickly and violently. His football and track background is very evident in how he plays. Shaping up to be one of the more dynamic small town scorers, who brings excitement to the game. Especially with his ability to get after it on defense with steals and moving his feet to harass opposing ball handlers. Multi-sport standout, his athleticism is highlighted by how the rebounding numbers he produces for a young guard. Has that smooth, natural athleticism that likely makes a natural standout in any sport he picks up. Looks the part in basketball with the way he gets to his spots in the mid-range. Comes from a family with a long history of scoring, which those battles with his older brothers likely helped him hit the grounding running this season. Impressed in the Class B quarterfinals, has good speed and even some lift when it comes to finishing around the rim. Would like to see him to continue to improve his wiggle, to better compliment a promising off the dribble mid-range game. Watching highlights speak to his dedication to his craft, with a repeatable form evident from long hours in the gym, likely shooting off a gun. A midseason injury slowed a fantastic freshman season, but even with the injury he proved he can flat out shoot it from deep. Had a 6 made three pointer game against Moyers in the playoffs. The footage proves he needs to be picked up soon after crossing halfcourt because he will pull quickly. With a father who's no stranger to wins with 400 career wins, expect the wins and buckets to continue for the younger Hadley at the high school level.
