Davis Dazzles Doing Everything in Warren Win

We have to start with the play of Warren 2027 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis']. The elite sophomore point guard was outstanding in this game. He did whatever was asked of him on each possession to give his team the best chance to win. Let's start with his defense. He is a scrappy defender that has such active hands getting steals and deflections. Like how well he rebounds for his position as well being sneaky getting in on the glass from his guard spot. He is a true floor general that makes everyone around him better which he definitely did on this night. Drive and kick, finding the big man out of the dunker spot, pushing in the open floor for transition scores. He did it all. As a scorer Davis banged in a corner three along with utilizing his creativity off the dribble to score in the lane for 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

Supporting Cast Comes Up HUGE for Warren

With all the injuries this season Warren hasn't consistently had their full group together until late in the season. They looked like who we thought they were in the preseason. Senior shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2291830' first='Javerion' last='Banks'] is an explosive wing that filled it up from three off the catch along with throwing down a big dunk in transition. Also showed slick passing on the move and high pointing rebounds while scoring 13 points. Fellow senior big man [player_tooltip player_id='2688322' first='Zach' last='Ausburn'] has been the biggest key this season for Warren giving them an inside presence. He did that again in this game going for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Multiple put backs, finished out of the dunker spot, ran the floor, and hit a short jumper. Excellent rebounder that plays with a high-motor. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] is a strong bodied wing that was tough scoring in transition and in the paint. Also hit a step back in the mid-range for 10 points. Defended at a high level as well.

Top Ranked Senior and Marquette Commit Shines in Final Game

Rolling Meadows senior star [player_tooltip player_id='1385299' first='Ian' last='Miletic'] capped his career with a rock solid performance. The #1 2025 prospect and Marquette commit went for 21 points in the loss. The skilled left handed small forward poured in four triples off the catch and movement. Big time shot maker from distance. Also can be a mismatch out of the post with his quickness and craftiness around the hoop. I still say one of his biggest strengths is his passing and feel for distributing as a secondary playmaker especially in the half court. Going to have a really nice career in the Big East.
