Evanston Senior Trio Bring It on Big Stage

The first thing that stands out about this Evanston team is how unselfish they are as a group and are willing to share the ball consistently. That has been a mainstay for Evanston teams over the last decade and it remains with this group. Starts with their point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2105284' first='Kaidan' last='Chatham']. The senior floor general really sees the floor making quick decisions off live dribbles finding teammates. Can also score when needed as he is slick with the rock and can shake defenders getting to his spots for pull ups or all the way to the cup as he had 12 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2321433' first='Theo' last='Rocca'] is a lights out perimeter shot maker that has good size. Drained a pair of threes, but it was his toughness on the glass and defensive end getting his hands in for steals that impressed us as he notched 15 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2538922' first='George' last='Richardson'] is a big man that goes a bit overlooked, but his ability to finish around the hoop, rebound, and draw contact are key for this team. All three of these seniors should be heavy priorities at the small college level.

The Evanston programs keeps churning college players out year after year. [player_tooltip player_id='2540157' first='Vito' last='Rocca'] is another in line as the sophomore two guard is a plus athlete on the wing who can convert around the rim, run the floor, and is scrappy. Went for 9 points. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2531970' first='Ben' last='Ojala'] plays a lot off the ball, but long term projects as a point guard. Tough as nails guard that is super fluid with the rock in his hands pushing in the open floor and can really shoot it from distance.

Mazanowski is Small College Gem

The player that jumped off the page to us for Lane Tech in this game was [player_tooltip player_id='2300370' first='Zach' last='Mazanowski']. He has very good athleticism, size for position, and can put it on the deck with his handles. Also is a sound three point shooter knocking in a pair for 12 points.
