2027 Guards with plenty to prove this Grassroots Season

After averaging 13.5 per game as a freshman he saw his scoring jump a full four points to 17.5 per game as a sophomore. He has a nice ability to get his shot off with a quick release over most defenders and has improved his finishing ability when getting downhill. During this past year, he was asked to play off ball and score more than he did as a freshman when he was his team's point guard, but I expect him to go back to lead guard responsibilities this upcoming grassroots season. The lefty combo guard has a solid knack for distributing to teammates and is apeak on the defensive end, whether on ball or in the passing lanes. He's Small in stature but an absolute blur with the ball in his hands with the uncanny ability to stop on the dime for pullup jumpers or hit an open man while going full speed. But when you play with the energy and passion that Johnson does on the defensive end its no surprise he cracked the rotation. Towards the end of the season he showed a solid level of ball handling and the ability to knock down the three improved as the season went on. He will be with a solid [program_tooltip program_id='2078546' first='Team' last='Trezz'] squad this grassroots season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
