[player_tooltip player_id='2324785' first='Bryson' last='Childers'] is a name we've yet to call for award winners but here he is! Childers has been super efficient and effective all year as he is dynamic in his offensive game being a threat on the post, driving from anywhere as well as lethal in mid-range. This particular night he dropped 35 in the biggest game of his career during the WVCAT championship. Although it resulted in a loss, Childers showed his entire tool box and had an impressive display of moves, decision making and finishing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211906' first='Eli' last='Sancomb'] cranked out a cool 41 points and 14 rebounds, not to mention 9 assists versus AA contender Logan on Saturday where he showed how versatile and dynamic he really is while being guarded by some of WV AA's best. Sancomb has had multiple 40+ games this season and has quickly turned the tables on possibly being the state player of the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241530' first='Jaylon' last='Walton'] absolutely dominated the Cabell Midland Knights in the paint. The 6'4" senior went off for 27 points on 11-12 shooting and 8 rebounds in what could be a 4A state tournament matchup. Walton has been steady and dominant in the paint as we called him one of the state's most improved players this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2304715' first='MJ' last='Patton'] strikes again! The dime dropping specialist dished out another 8 dimes in the WVCAT semifinals which resulted in a loss, but it capped off what MJ has done best all year and that's find open shots and find open teammates. At season's end MJ's assist average pushed to 6 per game which is impressive in today's style basketball

[player_tooltip player_id='2694392' first='Lucas' last='Lambert'] came out swingin' in Wheeling as his team took on fellow double A power Wheeling Central. Lambert has been nothing short of lethal all year and Saturday versus Central was no different. Although in a losing effort, Lambert scored enough to help keep the Wildcats close even with potential WV PoY candidate [player_tooltip player_id='2211906' first='Eli' last='Sancomb'] checking him defensively. Lambert has had a tremendous freshman season so far and could showcase himself in Charleston if Logan takes care of business in regionals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2326132' first='Eli' last='Patton'] has performed at a high defensive level all year. He does everything a coach could ask on the defensive end, take on the opponent's best player, take charges, grab steals, etc... But the best part with Eli is he does it all unselfishly and has proven that by doing it each week.
