[player_tooltip player_id='2686841' first='Austin' last='Porta'] absolutely lit it up vs Hundred HS with a blazing 39 points with 12/22 from the field and an impressive 6/10 from beyond the arc. Porta made a quick recovery after a loss earlier that week to Tyler where he managed to pour in 30 points at WV State despite Tyler's best defensive efforts to slow him down.

[player_tooltip player_id='2345856' first='Nymir' last='Bryant'] was one tough hombre during his time at WV State hosted Snyder of Berlin UTZ Snacks Shootout. Bryant was an absolute force on the boards and in the paint. The imposing sophomore dropped in 15 points and pulled down a whopping 18 rebounds! Bryant has had similar stat lines throughout the season but had this one against another strong AA opponent while in front of a great audience.

[player_tooltip player_id='2304715' first='MJ' last='Patton'] continues to put together impressive numbers night in and out. Once again dropping impressive assist numbers while maintaining his scoring threat. Patton dropped eight dimes yet again last week pushing his assist per game average to six per. Impressive feat considering he's also averaging 20ppg.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382651' first='Evan' last='Swain'] didn't waste any time last week asserting his dominance versus Petersburg and putting up 16 points, 11 boards and rejecting three shots during the contest at WV State. Swain who could be a D1 baseball player would be a highly sought after big for D2/D3 schools if otherwise.

[player_tooltip player_id='2501258' first='Joseph' last='Fenstermacher'] dropped an impressive 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in one of three games in week ten. He also recorded two other double doubles while in action last week. The freshman pivot put up 21 and 14 as well as 19 and 14 just in week three. He's been a bright spot for the South Harrison squad that has struggled at times. Fenstermacher is one of the most fundamental bigs in WV regardless of class.

The quartet of South Charleston Black Eagles including [player_tooltip player_id='2679289' first='Malcolm' last='Brown'], [player_tooltip player_id='2243481' first='De'Shad' last='Williams'], [player_tooltip player_id='2375169' first='Elijah' last='Martin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2306368' first='Tavarish' last='Porter-Martin'] did such a great job collectively defending the high powered Boyd County squad they all needed recognition. These four have slowed down quite alot of line ups throughout the year but slowing down the Boyd County big guns and getting a win deserves to be recognized and legitimizes the South Charleston chances to win it all in Charleston in March!
