It's that time of year again where we do our quarterly rankings updates, and we will start with the senior class! We've had quite a while to compile our 2025 rankings over the past four years, so we had a solid list already but that doesn't mean things haven't changed with transfers and shakeups throughout the list.

We will be doing content throughout the week on new additions, biggest risers and positional rankings. Here's a look at part two of the top shooting guards and small forwards in the senior class.

15) [player_tooltip player_id='2242375' first='Shane' last='Crissman'] | 6'5” SG | Miller School (#36 Overall)

Crissman transferred to Miller School after being a standout at Riverside the last few years, and he fit in perfectly to the Mavericks uptempo, heavy 3 point attack and has been a big reason they sit as the favorites for the VISAA D2 classification. The 6'5” wing projects as a 3 and d guy as he has great range and knocks it down at a high clip from deep, he knows how to relocate and work off the ball to get open, he can attack closeouts and he should fill out nicely when he gets to college.

14) [player_tooltip player_id='1494098' first='Justin' last='Burrough'] | 6'6” SF | Norfolk Collegiate (#34 Overall)

Burrough has had a breakout senior season as the go-to guy for Norfolk Collegiate, as he's starting to turn the corner and see his potential turn into production as he's put up big numbers throughout the year. The 6'6” wing is a walking mismatch as he's got great size and is a big time athlete who can play above the rim, he can knock down shots from deep off the catch, he can get to spots in the midrange area and he can post smaller defenders and finish in the paint too.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='1598933' first='Cortlin' last='Siska'] | 6'4” SG | Bethel Academy (#32 Overall)

Siska transferred back to the DMV after spending a year in New Jersey, and the 6'4” shooting guard is one of the more intriguing available prospects in the area. A late bloomer who is really grown into his game, Siska is a three level high scoring wing who can fill it up from all over, he can play on or off the ball, he's an athletic finisher and he's chock full of potential as a perimeter lock down defender.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='1956062' first='Desmon' last='Rose'] | 6'6” SF | John Marshall (#29 Overall)

Rose has been one of the most fun prospects in the Richmond area to watch develop over the past few years, and while he is a key part of a nationally ranked John Marshall team he would likely be one of the top players in the area if he played anywhere else. The 6'6” wing has become very explosive over the past year after growing into his body, he has developed into a very reliable shooter from deep, he can create off the bounce in the half court and he is a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='2571731' first='Jaylen' last='Wynn'] | 6'4” SF | Peninsula Catholic (#25 Overall)

Wynn exploded onto the scene in the HGSL with Team Loaded 757 this past summer, and he's had a great senior season for a very good PC team, and he recently committed to D2 power Virginia State. The 6'4” wing is well built and extremely strong as he's able to knife through defenses off the bounce and finishes very well in traffic, he can make shots from deep off the catch and he plays with a good motor as he makes winning and hustle plays on both ends of the floor.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='1494110' first='Sebastian' last='Whitfield'] | 6'5” SF | Cape Henry (#24 Overall)

Whitfield was coming off a big summer on the 3SSB Circuit with Team Push when he unfortunately suffered a season ending injury before his senior year began, but he did enough to commit to Ivy powerhouse Princeton and they're getting a player when he gets healthy. The 6'5” wing is a stat sheet stuffer who's strong enough to defend his position and play through contact when he gets downhill, he can score the ball in a variety of ways and he's very crafty and gets to the line often for easy points.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1489070' first='Danzelle' last='Coles'] | 6'4” SG | STAB (#23 Overall)

Coles has been fantastic for a STAB team that has a chance at finally getting over the hump and winning the state championship, and he's been a huge part of that as he's been productive across the board for them this year. The Queens commit is able to score the ball in a variety of ways without plays being called for him, he hits the glass very well for his size, he can play on or off the ball and he brings a competitive chip to him every time he's on the floor.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1296998' first='Cedric' last='Horton'] | 6'4” SG | Hargrave (#16 Overall)

Horton transferred to Hargrave where he starts for their post grad team as a true senior, and with the way he's played in the Elite Prep League he was able to earn a scholarship to Texas A&M Corpus Christie and should have a chance to earn early minutes when he gets there. Even though he plays against mostly older kids Horton has a competitive streak to him that can't be taught, he's a big time athlete that is able to play above the rim relatively effortlessly, he knocks down shots at a good clip and he brings a lot of energy on the defensive end too.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1259633' first='Elijah' last='Kelly'] | 6'7” SF | Miller School (#15 Overal)

Kelly had a breakout junior season and a great summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA'] which led to him committing to Longwood, but unfortunately he suffered a knee injury that sidelined him for his senior season. Kelly is one of the most well-rounded wings you'll come across, as he's able to truly impact the game in a lot of different ways. He's a lock down defender who can guard almost every position on the floor, he's a big time athlete who can play above the rim in transition, he has good ball skills and playmaking ability and he's improved to be a solid threat from deep too.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1956061' first='Sincere' last='Jones'] | 6'7” SF | Churchland (#12 Overall)

Jones has been one of the top players in the 757 for the past three years or so, and the Virginia Tech commit is a player who is already very productive but still has a lot of upside moving forward. At 6'7” with a strong build, Jones will have no problem transitioning to the physicality and athleticism of the ACC as he's already there, and he could find a way to make an early impact with his all-around skillset. He's able to guard multiple positions including guys much bigger than him, he can handle it in transition or run the wing and use his athleticism to finish, he can make shots when he's left open and he's a very good rebounder too.
