Unranked Breakdown Bonanza (Pt 2)

We are still just getting started with this new series targeting unranked players across Washington state. Stay tuned for new batches of previously unranked and uncovered athletes getting their due in this analysis breakdown bonanza. Here is part two, with plenty more athletes to know across the state.    Great hustle and defensive effort against Lake Washington in their winner-to-state game. Won a ton of 50/50 balls, chased down long rebounds and crashed inside in big moments to win extra possessions off the rim. Was also tough guarding on the perimeter, generally had the strength advantage and his feet were quick enough to shut down driving lanes and slow down the Kangs' attack.     Pretty athletic kid with good slashing and passing ability. Still pretty raw but showcased some big play ability at the rim, along with smooth attacks left and right, as well as some quick decisions to find cutters or make key passes from the top.     Super high-effort player. Has some decent athleticism and plays with grit around the paint. Has some sneaky burst and can get to the hoop, but mostly plays with good determination and stays aggressive, not scared of going at guys. High-motor perimeter defender who can really irritate ballhandlers.     Hutchison runs the point for Bush and does a lot of playmaking from the top. He's a bigger kid to run the show and is more naturally an off guard/wing who can score pretty effectively inside and out. Has a decent stroke from 3-point and can score off the bounce around the paint. Pretty athletic and uses his size well to finish strong around bodies inside.     Nixon is a good athlete who shows ability on both ends of the floor. He does well playing shifty off two feet on his drives and can sink those short to midrange jumpers after getting defenders to back off with the threat of his quick bursts both laterally and downhill. He's a ready defender with strong, quick hands and has some good length for his size.     Quick little guard with some scrappiness to his play. Looks to pass more than shoot and can get some penetration with a quick first move. Also shows some toughness to handle contact on drives, see the play through, and has the hustle to chase down long rebounds.     Kelley is a key guard for the Spartans who can stretch the floor or work off the dribble to find space in the midrange. He's just a solid decision-maker who picks his spots well and can be relied on to take good shots. Solid with the ball and making some key passes but biggest asset is shooting the rock.     Howe is a quick and feisty guard with good stop-and-go to get separation. He's got a decent shot in the midrange and really plays aggressivley taking guys on to the rim. Has that same aggressive play on the defensive end, working guards side to side and pouncing on openings to pick ballhandlers.     A strong and well-built guard who excels at getting to the paint and scoring. Can hit shifting layups around defenders or use his strength to create contact and go up over/through defenders in close. Does a great job working to get depth off the dribble, always works off of two, and has great success pushing smaller guards around down low. He was 10th in scoring in the 4A/3A GSL at 14.2 ppg in the regular season.
