Every successful team needs a glue-guy, a player you can count on to compete on both ends of the court each time out while playing unselfish basketball and doing whatever it takes to help his team win. Anvelink is that player for unbeaten Bonduel. He can defend on the perimeter, locate open teammates, make shots and come up with game-altering steals. His play for coach Duke Copp has been instrumental in helping the Bears to an 18-0 record, including a 10-0 mark in the Central Wisconsin East Conference. Anvelink is averaging 15.3 points, 3.3 reobunds, 3.9 assists and 2.5 steals for the Bears and has helped the Bonduel program to an incredible 44-2 record over the past two seasons. Oh, he also hit a half-court shot at the end of regulation in a 61-58 road win at Iola-Scandinavia.

With more than 1,500 career points and earlier this season surpassing Tyler Gordan as the No. 1 scorer in Bayfield history, it's to imagine Bresette being Under-the-Radar. But playing way, way, way up north at a small school, he tends to be out-of-sight, out-of-mind to some degree. Still, the skilled 6-foot-1 point guard can definitely play. He has a very good handle of the ball, excellent court vision and the ability to put up points. He is averaging a Northern Lights Conference-best 27.1 points per game while leading Bayfield to a 12-5 record. A member of the Red Cliff Bank of the Lake Superior Chippewa, Bresette has helped his team to a third-place standing in the league and also is contributing 5.7 rebounds and an impressive 9.2 assists per game to the Trollers' cause.

After missing three games at the start of the season, DeBauch has helped Gillett become one of the better teams in the Marinette & Oconto Conference. The 6-foot-0 wing guard is putting up 31.1 points per game to lead the league, and he went for a career-best 48 points in a big league win over Coleman. DeBauch has scored more than 1,600 career points during his four years of varsity competition and can hurt opponents off the dribble, from outside the arc and with his ability to draw fouls and get to the free-throw line. The Player of the Year in the M&O as a junior, DeBauch has helped Gillett to a 7-4 league record and 9-8 mark in all games. In addition to his scoring, DeBauch also is handing out 5.2 assists per outing.

A relentless force on offense and on the glass, Gindt competes with energy and passion for Birchwood. He leads the Eastern Division of the Lakeland Conference in scoring at 24.0 ppg and ranks second in rebounding at 10.8 rpg. His non-stop focus on the court led to a 33-point, 18-rebound showing in a victory earlier this season over Winter. He has helped coach Alex Gilles' squad to an 8-2 league record and 9-6 mark in all games by attacking the basket off the dribble, getting put-back hoops in the lane and by making perimeter shots. A four-year varsity performer, Gindt is in the running for Player of the Year honors in the Lakeland East after earning second-team all-league recognition as a junior.

Cochrane-Fountain City is running roughshod over the competition in the Dairyland Conference thanks in large part to the strong play of Lipinski, a skilled 6-foot-3 wing with deep shooting range. Lipinski is averaging 22.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists while helping his team to a 14-0 league record and 16-1 overall mark. He is shooting 42 percent from three-point range on 62-of-149. He also went for a career-best 32 points and drilled five-of-six triples in a win over Eleva-Strum. Lipinski is a three-year varsity performer for coach Jesse Cyrus.

Poynette players and coaches likely are still having problems putting Medema out of their collective minds. In a non-league game against Poynette earlier in the season, Medema put up as good a performance as you'll ever see, finishing with 43 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, four steals and six blocked shots in a 74-63 victory. His steady play for Randolph this winter has helped the Rockets to a 9-9 record and tie for second place in the Trailways West Conference. On the campaign, Medema is averaging 23.2 points, 13.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists, leading the Rockets in all three categories. The 6-foot-7 forward has great size, good physical strength and the ability to dominate out of the post with his scoring, rebounding and passing.

The number of players going over 1,000 points during their high school careers is limited. The number of players who surpass 1,000 points AND 1,000 rebounds is even more rare. But Roehm is one of those rare players as he accomplished both feats last month. The 6-foot-4 senior forward is a guy Luck coach Josh Bazey can count on for at least each and every time out. The four-year varsity performer is averaging a double/double at 20.3 ppg and 14.2 rpg while also contributing 2.7 spg. He is shooting 73 percent from the line and is averaging a whopping 8.5 foul attempts for the Cardinals. Luck sits a 4-10 in the very competitive Lakeland West Conference and 7-12 overall.

It's been a difficult season for Northwood as the Evergreens have lost 13 of 17 outings thus far. But Schultz has been a bright spot for coach Jackson Terry's squad as he is averaging 28.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists. The 6-foot-2 guard has been a strong performer in each of the past four seasons at Northwood as he currently sits at 1,712 career points. He went for 47 points in a 61-56 win over Bruce in early January, making 16-of-18 shots from the field, 12-of-15 from the line and three-of-four from the line. Also a star football player, Schultz announced recently he plans to continue his grid career next fall at UW-River Falls.

Bahr's senior leadership, physical toughness and uncanny ability to make big shots has helped Aquinas to a 15-2 record and a first-place standing in the jumbled Mississippi Valley Conference standings. Also a standout defensive back on the football field and a grid recruit for UW-Eau Claire, Bahr has double his scoring and rebounding averages from his junior season. He is currently averaging 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.1 steals for the Blugolds. Moreover, his physicality and mental mindset have been vital to the success of coach Brad Reinhart's squad this winter.

Willadsen gets things with his physical strength, ability to finish and rebounding prowess. He's been huge in the success of the Kohler program this season as he's averaging 15.3 points and 9.2 rebounds for a team that has won 15 of 18 outings. Willadsen is a four-year varsity performer for coach Ken Roeder at Kohler, and a dependable pick-and-roll guy who will finish through contact and use his strong body control to avoid charges. He has expanded his shooting range as well so he can pick-and-pop at times for the Blue Bombers, who are battling Sheboygan Lutheran and Oostburg for the title in the Southern Division of the Big East Conference. Also a very strong student, Willadsen is looking to play basketball in college and is receiving attention from a number of NCAA Division III programs, including Wisconsin Lutheran.
