About Zane
Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Willadsen gets things with his physical strength, ability to finish and rebounding prowess. He’s been huge in the success of the Kohler program this season as he’s averaging 15.3 points and 9.2 rebounds for a team that has won 15 of 18 outings. Willadsen is a four-year varsity performer for coach Ken Roeder at Kohler, and a dependable pick-and-roll guy who will finish through contact and use his strong body control to avoid charges. He has expanded his shooting range as well so he can pick-and-pop at times for the Blue Bombers, who are battling Sheboygan Lutheran and Oostburg for the title in the Southern Division of the Big East Conference. Also a very strong student, Willadsen is looking to play basketball in college and is receiving attention from a number of NCAA Division III programs, including Wisconsin Lutheran.

Zane put together a big game on Sunday morning to help lead Lakeshore Force to a win. At 6’4 he’s tough to matchup with because his strength allows him to overpower smaller forwards, but when guarded with size he has the quick feet to beat them off the dribble. Against NBN he was able to attack out of the high post when guarded by a 6’9 big, but when defended by 6’3 guys he was bullying them into deep post position before powering his way up to the rim. Defensively he was tough to move on the block, did a nice job of walling up to contest, and had a couple of blocks showcasing good timing to get off the floor. Did a great job of boxing out and high pointing rebounds.
