Poynette players and coaches likely are still having problems putting Medema out of their collective minds. In a non-league game against Poynette earlier in the season, Medema put up as good a performance as you’ll ever see, finishing with 43 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, four steals and six blocked shots in a 74-63 victory. His steady play for Randolph this winter has helped the Rockets to a 9-9 record and tie for second place in the Trailways West Conference. On the campaign, Medema is averaging 23.2 points, 13.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists, leading the Rockets in all three categories. The 6-foot-7 forward has great size, good physical strength and the ability to dominate out of the post with his scoring, rebounding and passing.

The senior has dominated scoring during his time at Randolph – averaging 17 points per game as a junior. But not to go unnoticed is his ability to control the game from the glass, averaging just over 10 rebounds per game last season. Both offensively and defensively, Medema controls the boards ultimately leading to the success of Randolph. 

Medema is coming off a season where he averaged a double/double while helping Randolph to the Trailways West Conference title and a 21-7 record. A solid post-up player with size, length and strength, Medema averaged 16.8 points and 10.2 rebounds for the Rockets. He and junior Ben Paul Ben Paul 5'10" | CG Randolph Votech | 2026 WI are the returning regulars for coach Tyler Fischer and form a solid inside/outside duo as Randolph attempts to defend its league crown and then make some noise when the playoffs roll around.
