Under The Radar: 2025 Guards

After a bit of a dip his junior season, [player_tooltip player_id='1386822' first='Grant' last='Smith'] has been outstanding his final season. The offense runs through Smith, a big guard with unlimited range. With the ball in his hands, he's able to showcase his sneaky good playmaking downhill, a solid passer off the bounce. Smith draws fouls on drives and has the size to be a reliable defender and rebounder. Covenant and Southwestern CC have offered.     LaGrange is the lone offer for the freak athlete that can play multiple spots. Jory is a stat sheet stuffer with his athleticism and motor. He's a dynamic slasher that finishes above the rim. He's a springy rebounder and can keep defenders off balance with his outside shot. Williams has the tools to be an elite defender.     Clausen left the North Oconee program but he's a legitimate prospect for small schools. At 6-foot-4, Clausen has very nice size with impressive length. He has deep three-point shooting range and is an effective rebounder when crashing the glass.     Undersized, Drayton plays with massive heart. He picks up 94-feet on defense and is a relentless playmaker. He has great body control when attacking the hoop, able to score through the chests of defenders. Darren spaces the floor with his three-point shot and is a savvy facilitator off the bounce. His leaping ability makes up for his shortcomings.     Battle is averaging 17.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.5 steals, living up to the hype as a Preseason All-State pick. Battle has three-level scoring in his arsenal. He's shooting 38% from distance and is a reliable foul shooter (71%) that also converts at a high clip inside the arc (57%).
