<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Second game we saw on Tuesday evening was Warren traveling on the road to play Lake Zurich.&nbsp; Over the holidays Lake Zurich made noise making it to the final four at Jack Tosh.&nbsp; Warren has been a bit inconsistent, but is now healthy and looking to make a run deep into March behind their sophomore superstar.&nbsp; Lake Zurich held with Warren in the first half only trailing by a bucket at intermission, but the second half was all Warren as they dominated blowing out Lake Zurich by a final of 61-40.&nbsp; We look at some of the top players in the game in <strong>Top Prospects: Warren vs Lake Zurich</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] (Warren - 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Davis is one of the premier prospects not only in the sophomore class, but any class in the state of Illinois.&nbsp; The lead guard is such an advanced playmaker who raises the play of everyone else around him.&nbsp; Great passer finding shooters and cutters.&nbsp; Always has his head up looking to make a play in the half court.&nbsp; Excellent distributor that has such an advanced feel reading the defense and taking what they give him.&nbsp; As a scorer he hit a couple of deep threes, got to the rim for an and-1 and got to the line.&nbsp; For a lead guard he rebounds extremely well for his position and is such a crafty defender has quick hands swiping steals and turning them into points.&nbsp; Went for 14 points in the win.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] (Warren - 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Walker is a 2026 shooting guard who is primed to breakout this summer on the recruiting trail.&nbsp; Good size on the perimeter and can shoot it from three off the catch.&nbsp; Soft touch floater game and can get to the line as he had 7 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2688322' first='Zach' last='Ausburn'] (Warren – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ausburn is a five man that has a strong frame and seals well on the interior on the baseline for scores and runs the floor.&nbsp; Tough around the hoop as a rebounder and defender.&nbsp; Would be a nice small college pick up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Owen Squires (Warren - 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Squires has had a breakout senior season.&nbsp; He is the floor spacer for Warren as he did just that in this game connecting on three from distance for 9 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2291830' first='Javerion' last='Banks'] (Warren - 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Banks is their top senior prospect who is just coming back from an injury.&nbsp; Didn't start or play much early, but flashed what has always made him appealing at the next level which is his physicality and athleticism in the open floor.&nbsp; That included a steal for a dunk on the other end en route to 6 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2437515' first='Jack' last='Wolf'] (Warren - 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wolf had a strong game as the senior recorded 10 points in the victory.&nbsp; Banked in a short mid-range jumper and played above the rim for a dunk.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2432328' first='Adrian' last='Riep'] (Lake Zurich - 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Riep was the prospect that left the biggest impression on us for Lake Zurich in this game.&nbsp; The power forward was a monster on the offensive glass getting three and-1s in the first half alone.&nbsp; He was super tough on the glass and played with physicality while scoring 15 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1522682' first='Kain' last='Kretschmar'] (Lake Zurich – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kretschmar is the top player for Lake Zurich.&nbsp; He was held under his average, but did flash some of what makes the junior an intriguing prospect.&nbsp; Good driver that scored on a sweeping layup, got to the line, and hit a three for 7 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
