Nice wins for Apple Valley, Richfield and others from Tuesday night. We review some of the Tuesday Night Standouts!

7AAAA Apple Valley at Eagan

Prediction. Correct. I felt AV would win again, and win by more this time, but I wasn't expecting a 79-54 game. Nobody turned the box score in (such a tough task for the modern coach!) so nothing to mention about the players.

4AAA DeLaSalle at 9AAA Richfield

Prediction. WRONG. I should have done my research here. Richfield won both games with De last year, it was a one score game earlier in the year, and Richfield's depth has been playing better. I said De by 12, it was Richfield winning 82-71. [player_tooltip player_id='1574223' first='CJ' last='Armstrong'] went for 42 leading the [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''] to the victory.

Lake City at 7AAA Byron

Prediction. Correct. I said Byron by a dozen, it was the Bears winning 88-66. Minnesota football commit [player_tooltip player_id='1939373' first='Colin' last='Hansen'] had a game high 19 points for the Bears leading them to the win.

2AAA Alexandria at Delano

Prediction. Correct. I went with a courteous 18 point spread, it was bigger than that. [player_tooltip player_id='1572690' first='Chase' last='Thompson'] exploded for 36 second half points for a 47 point game leading Alex to the win.

St. Louis Park at 6AAA Orono

Prediction. Correct. I said Orono by nine, they won by four. [player_tooltip player_id='1579885' first='Nolan' last='Groves'] had a cool 57 points while three teammates had a dozen each. Stats don't show this but I heard [player_tooltip player_id='1874916' first='Micah' last='Curtis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1589407' first='Marley' last='Curtis'] each scored 30 points.

I Saw It On Twitter!

[player_tooltip player_id='1567964' first='Isa' last='El-Amin'] hit four threes, scored 22 points and dished out seven assists in a Tonka win over STMA.

Tate Goergen scored 22 keeping Southland undefeated beating a good team from Iowa (Osage).

[player_tooltip player_id='2394170' first='Alex' last='Loos'] scored 31 points for Goodhue getting the win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa.

Three sport star [player_tooltip player_id='2119578' first='Pierce' last='Petersohn'] celebrated all his football scholarship offers by putting up 41 points and 11 rebounds making eight threes in the Triton win over Bethlem Academy

[player_tooltip player_id='1452981' first='Ethan' last='Van Schepen'] totaled a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds Schaeffer Academy beating Medford

[player_tooltip player_id='1574216' first='Azayah' last='Washington'] became the all time leading scorer at Apollo last night.

Upset of the Night

Rosemount got their 5th win of the night and they did it by knocking off ranked Prior Lake! No stats turned in but a big win and one of the upsets of the year.
