Moapa Valley started the game hot and it was fairly close after the first quarter. But then the Mustangs began to find their rhythm and the Pirates started to miss shots. Then in the second quarter[player_tooltip player_id='2050108' first='Ethan' last='Fink'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1817875' first='Grant' last='Moses'] got going and knocked down shots from downtown. All of a sudden The Meadows School found themselves in control of the game and they had a 10 point lead. Moapa Valley attempted to stay in the game by launching more three's in the second half, but they were in too big of a hole to make a comeback.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280840' first='Uzo' last='Nwapa'] showed up and showed out for the Mustangs on Monday night. He gained inside position consistently and used his athleticism to finish. Moapa Valley just didn't have anyone capable of stopping him, and I also liked how he used his jumper to keep the defense honest. It's been an impressive season from the sophomore, and he'll need to have another big time performance on Wednesday.

[player_tooltip player_id='2050108' first='Ethan' last='Fink'] played a big part in The Meadows School's win over Moapa Valley. The crafty guard used his acceleration skills to blow by his defenders on a few occasions. Fink also went 2-4 from beyond the arc and didn't miss a single free throw (4-4). It was a stellar shooting performance from the junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1817875' first='Grant' last='Moses'] dropped 20 points on the Pirates. He was able to score in a variety of ways and hit 3 triples on the night. On the other end of the court, Moses used his IQ and lateral quickness to keep his man in front him. All in all, I liked what I saw from him.

While Walker would've likely preferred to win, but he ended his high school career with a decent performance. On offense, he connected on two 3-pointers and he used his frame to score a couple of buckets in the paint. On defense, I noticed him clogging lanes and fighting for rebounds.

He had the Pirates hanging around most of the game, and I liked how he was attacking on offense. Bunker was able to get to the rim on a few of his drives, and he knocked down a pair of 3-pointers. I also noticed Bunker utilizing his wingspan on the defensive end to pester his opponents.
