has been playing with Team Decisive this spring. He plays with confidence, particularly on offense. When his team needs a bucket, he can drain a 3 or a pull-up jumper. He also has an ability to get downhill and draw contact. Fink works hard on defense as well and he doesn’t take possessions off.

battled against the very quick Mater East guards and had a bit of trouble in the first half. Then in the 3rd quarter he began to hit some holes in the defense, and was able to make a few lay-ups. Fink also knocked down a jumper and got to the free throw line. Although the Mustangs didn’t get the win, I like how he competed in the second half.

played a big part in The Meadows School’s win over Moapa Valley. The crafty guard used his acceleration skills to blow by his defenders on a few occasions. Fink also went 2-4 from beyond the arc and didn’t miss a single free throw (4-4). It was a stellar shooting performance from the junior.

is one of Nevada’s best perimeter defenders. Fink obtains a great knack for the ball while keeping his hands active guarding on the ball and off. Offensively, Fink has a natural-looking jump shot with a high arc release. This, paired with his point guard passing abilities, makes him effective on both ends of the floor.

Fink will be counted on to grow up fast if Meadows is going to contend in 3A. I thought today was an excellent learning exprience for him. The guard showed a good next play menatlity, bouncing back from a few mental mistakes, to make some key plays for his team, including knocking down multiple jumpers in the game.

Fink caught my eye with his play at Section 7. The guard is a glue guy type for Meadows, with a knack for coming up huge in big spots. With the Mustangs looking to be a contender once again this year, don’t be suprised if the sleeper shooter comes up big in some crucial games.
