February is almost half over as the second week of the month is here. The Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament tipped off on Saturday and has prospects who are set to have big conference tournaments. Here are the GMC Tournament prospects to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595674' first='Aiden' last='Derkack'], 6'5 SG Colonia 2026

Derkack is coming off a pair of 30-point games at the Metro Classic and is looking to carry that over into the GMC Tournament. The 6'5 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong above the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Derkack uses his size to see over his defender and has a good release on his free throws. He uses his length to make plays on defense and skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Derkack is playing like an All-State performer this season and should continue that play during the GMC Tournament.

Nate Davis, 5'10 PG Piscataway 2025

Davis has taken a big step up for the Chiefs this season as he leads the team in scoring. The 5'10 guard has a good release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Davis can also score in the mid-range and finishes well around the basket. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense and moves well without the ball in his hands. Davis has four 20-point games this season and is looking to add to that total during the GMC Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2342636' first='Chidi' last='Chukwurah'], PF Sayreville 2026

Chukwurah has been a force down low for the Bombers this season and will be a frontcourt prospect to track in the tournament. He uses his body well to get position down low and has a good touch around the basket. Chukwurah doesn't mind drawing contact in the paint and is an underrated passer. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Chukwurah has six 20-10 games this season and should add to that total over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1472514' first='Aiden' last='Ur'], 6'4 PG St. Thomas Aquinas 2025

Ur has shown the ability to play on and off the ball, making him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6'4 guard uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and has a nice touch in the mid-range. Ur is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He is a solid passer and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Ur is a lanky guard prospect who should put up big games during the course of the GMC Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2339302' first='Krish' last='Patel'], CG Old Bridge 2025

Patel has had some big moments down the stretch for the Knights and should have mor games like that as the month progresses. He has a good handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and finishes nicely around the rim. Patel can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He moves well without the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Patel is a hard-working guard prospect whose ability to score inside and out is something that will help his stock over the next couple of weeks.

Other Prospects to Watch:

Jordan Jones, 5'10 PG South Plainfield 2025

[player_tooltip player_id='2917859' first='Alijah' last='Murphy'], 6'3 SG St. Joseph's Metuchen 2026

Bryan Anderson, G Woodbridge 2025

[player_tooltip player_id='1953390' first='Matt' last='Mikulka'], 5'9 PG East Brunswick 2026

[player_tooltip player_id='1456844' first='Jalen' last='Fleming'], 6'4 SF Timothy Christian 2025
