Last night, in New Albany's 48-46 overtime win over Providence, Washington showed why he is such a special prospect. With the time running down, Washington was able to slip off of his defender to hit a corner three at the buzzer to give the Bulldog's their 15th win on the season. Washington has had a really good week with this as well as his 21 points vs Jeffersonville the other night. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Terre Haute North wins Conference Indiana outright</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Terre Haute North Patriots made school history on Friday night. With their 65-57 win over the Bloomington North Cougars, Terre Haute North became the outright Conference Indiana outright champions for the first time in school history. Standouts for Terre Haute North include: [player_tooltip player_id='1561104' first='Gavin' last='Woelfle'] with 15 points, Blake Hammonds 13 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='1561105' first='Brady' last='Klopfenstein'] 10 points. The Patriots have travel to Park Tudor on Tuesday night. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Paoli beats Orleans behind [player_tooltip player_id='1297025' first='Fletcher' last='Cole']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Rams are continuing to roll this season as they picked up their 16th win on the year. Behind 31 points and 7 rebound by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1297025' first='Fletcher' last='Cole'], Paoli defeated Orleans 59-46. The Rams have now won 11 of their last 12 games and look like a team that could make a run in Class 2A. Paoli has Mitchell on Tuesday night. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
