'25 Rankings Update: New Additions

-The speedster has turned it up in his senior season in new threads with the Bulldogs. Johnson's production reached unseen heights with a 34-point performance in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, capitalizing on the opportunity for some extended run with a marquee performance. His ability to get downhill, push the pace in transition, and guard his yard should be huge for Bullis down the stretch run of the season. If he can come up with a few scoring outbursts of 20+ in the playoffs, the IAC defending champions will be even more potent.     -Flamer's athleticism and productivity have seen noticeable increases in new threads with Mt. Zion Prep. A skilled big that can knock down open perimeter looks and finish opportunities around the basket-- he has flashed some defensive versatility and shot-blocking ability with the Warriors. He's really worked on his body and the motor has been much more consistent this season. Expect the college interest to peak as MZP is likely to make deep runs in postseason tournaments to close out the year.     -Young debuts comfortably within the top 100 as a standout performer for a Cardozo team that sought out all the smoke in the nonconference scheduling this season. Young can defend either guard spot at a high level, can switch onto wings, stretches the floor with his shooting, and flashes some quick twitch ability to get off the floor as a play-finisher around the rim. A physical downhill driver, even if you anticipate his path to the rim it can be real difficult to cut him off and he has a knack for working his way to the FT line. Love his willingness to get down in a stance and really fight on the defensive end of the floor to make life as difficult as possible for his matchup.     -A high level shooter that has impressed our scouts at several events this season, Lewis spaces the floor really well for a Cardozo team that plays off of its guard's forays into the paint. Lewis understands when he needs to get a shot up and when it's best to attack closeouts as a driver or playmaker. His ability to play the passing lane at the defensive end of the floor has boosted his value as a small college prospect that can help college teams win games. If he can knock down shots on a higher volume during the postseason, Cardozo should make a real run in the DC Playoffs.     Latoga enters our rankings as an extremely-skilled point guard that can create for himself or others even in the tightest of working spaces. You'd be hard-pressed guarding Latoga in a phone booth because of how easily he can create space with crossovers, stepbacks and spin moves. As he continues to receive starter's minutes in a Calvert Hall rotation that needs him to score, his ability to find teammates off the bounce will only enhance his natural ability to score. But his ability to create for himself off the bounce without a ball screen or having actions run for him makes him a valuable piece for this Calvert Hall team.
