A dynamic ball-handler and playmaker in the backcourt, Wilmington has the ball on a string and is under complete control when he's in command of the offense. He can score from all three levels, getting into the teeth of the defense and finishing through contact, or knocking down shots off the dribble. He sees the floor extremely well and is a willing, skilled passer. He's also a strong on-ball defender with good lateral quickness, and as he continues to grow, he could end up being able to defend both perimeter spots. He played quite a bit, largely off the bench, for the Lancers as a freshman, averaging 5.0 points and 2.1 assists on 51-36-67 shooting.

Kooken has appeared in just 12 varsity games for the Wolves this season, but that's a very experienced and talented team, so getting any run with that group should be celebrated. He may end up being the best pure shooter in the 2028 class. He has beautiful form on his shot, unlimited range, and a quick release both off the dribble and the catch. When he's operating with the ball in his hands, he's a creative, instinctual playmaker who knows where his teammates are going to be and finds them for easy looks.

(13) [player_tooltip player_id='2523891' first='Carter' last='Thielen'] | SF | Lewis Central

A long, skilled wing who is able to get to the rim seemingly whenever he wants off the dribble, Thielen has been extremely productive for the Titans, averaging a team-high 14.3 points per game in addition to 5.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per contest. He's at his best when he's playing downhill, but as he continues to iron out his perimeter stroke, he could develop into one of the state's elite scorers.

(14) [player_tooltip player_id='2523908' first='Jaxen' last='Christiansen'] | SG | Northeast

A versatile offensive weapon who can score from just about anywhere, Christiansen has had some explosive scoring games for the Rebels as a freshman, averaging 16.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game on 46-43-88 shooting splits. He shoots it at a high level off both the dribble and the catch, and his length allows him to cover a ton of ground in a hurry on both ends of the floor.

Hughes was one of the top performers at our Freshman Showcase back in August, and he followed it up with a productive freshman year for the Bison, averaging 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists on 48-38-84 shooting. He's a tough wing who can score from all three levels as well as defend multiple positions.

Wedeking still has some maturing to do physically, but he's a sharpshooter on the perimeter who buried 41.1% of his 3-point attempts as a freshman while averaging 12.7 points per game. He can provide some secondary ball-handling and playmaking, and he likely becomes more of a lead guard as he progresses at A-P, but for now he's an off-ball sniper with a quick release and great off-ball movement.

(17) [player_tooltip player_id='2772349' first='Chase' last='Goodheart'] | SG | Liberty

A 5-8 lefty sharpshooter, Goodheart has come on strong down the stretch of the season for Liberty, averaging 7.6 points per game. He shoots it well off both the dribble and the catch, isn't afraid to attack the rim and finish through contact against bigger bodies, and he can provide some secondary playmaking.

(18) [player_tooltip player_id='2521849' first='Adam' last='Strasburger'] | CG | Kennedy

Strasburger is a typical Kennedy guard - tough, physical, fundamentally sound, takes pride in his work on the defensive end, etc. He's a really good on-ball defender with some length and great lateral movement that he uses to make life difficult for opposing ball-handlers. Offensively he's able to get to the rim and finish through contact, create plays for his teammates, and he knocks down shots off the catch at a high clip.

(19) [player_tooltip player_id='2772340' first='Kylen' last='Vander Schaaf'] | SG | Sergeant Bluff-Luton

A skilled shooter, the coach's son is knocking down 37.3% of his 3-point attempts as a freshman while averaging 8.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. He has good size at 6-2, allowing him to shoot over his defender with his quick, smooth release.

(20) [player_tooltip player_id='2521754' first='Andrew' last='Allen'] | SG | Xavier | [program_tooltip program_id='2075269' first='All' last='Iowa Attack']

Allen didn't get any varsity run as a freshman for the Saints, but he'll be a big part of their program moving forward. He's a dynamic catch-and-shoot weapon on the perimeter with a quick release and extended range. While his jumper is his biggest offensive weapon, he also does a nice job using the threat of it to attack overly aggressive closeouts and either get all the way to the rim or get into the teeth of the defense before finding an open teammate.
