2027 Rankings Update: New Faces Inside the Top 50

He's having himself a breakout sophomore season with 14.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game at Burlington Christian Academy. He's shooting 43 percent from the field and 32 percent from behind the arc to lead the Royals offensive attack this season. He's a long, wiry prospect at 6-foot-9 who's already shown off he can do with a triple-double this season for Warren County. He's putting up 10.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game as the Eagles are 9-2 in the TAR Roanoke Conference this season, hot on the heels of Northampton County. He makes his debut at No. 18 in the latest 2027 rankings update as he powers the East Lincoln backcourt. He checks in at 26th in the latest 2027 rankings update, posting 12.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game as another all-around presence for them to rely on. He's shown he can step outside and knock down shots in the mid-range and perimeter area to create matchup problems on the floor.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Moore is finding his way in the Harrells Christian Academy frontcourt in his first year of meaningful varsity minutes. He's producing 9.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as the Crusaders have won 14 games in a row and counting heading into the playoffs. He's a sizeable name to get to know in the painted area at 6-foot-8 with a bright future ahead of him. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Woods is another top-scoring guard in the state of North Carolina making his debut in the 2027 rankings at No. 47. He ranks 19th overall in the state of North Carolina in points per game (25.8) according to MaxPreps. He's also averaging 3.8 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game to boost the backcourt. He's a shifty guard shooting 65 percent from the floor and 45 percent from deep in his sophomore season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Lash continues to lead the way for Shining Light Academy as he makes his debut at No. 49 in the latest 2027 rankings update. He's shown poise at the point guard spot with 13.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.1 steals to lead the way for the Knights in 2024-25. They're poised for another run in the CSAA State Playoffs with him leading by example at the floor general role.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Another prospect out of Burlington Christian Academy, [player_tooltip player_id='2676860' first='Manny' last='Vanhook'] makes his debut at No. 50 in the latest 2027 rankings update. He's an athletic combo guard averaging 9.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a presence in their backcourt. He's shown he can contribute in a number of ways with his athleticism and shooting ability in the class.
