Meet the Nominees
This week Drew Daoust just reached the top 5 all time in Wisconsin for career scoring in basketball. He is a Southern Door Senior. God willing he should be able to move to 2nd within the next few weeks. This week he scored 37, 35 and 33 points in the 3 games they had.
Highlights
This week Kane scored 45 and 42 points back to back. His 45 point performance broke the boys and girls single game scoring record for our high school. He’s averaging 27 PPG and 10 rpg.

Scored an impressive 33 points in Elbert County’s region win over Ogelthorpe. He also added 10 rebounds, 6 steals, 5 assists, and 1 block in the contest. This is AJ’s 7th double double game of this season. He leads the region in double doubles, rebounds, and blocks, and is sitting in the top 3 in points, assists, and steals

Fred Motley this week alone averaged 30 points and 10 rebounds! 37 and 8 rebounds on Tuesday, 35 and 12 on Thursday, | 18 and 10 rebounds on Friday! #2 in TN and MS in FGs made #56 in the nation.

Wasatch Academy defeated IMG #3 ranked school in the EYBL. Mariano is an unranked Junior that showed out against IMG and #8 ranked guard Darrius Acuff. Mariano carried the Wasatch Tigers to 59-58 win with 28pts, 9 rebounds, & 1 steal.
3 straight 30 point games and the 4th game scored 29p went for 7 3’s. Shooting 50% from 3 and the field in that stretch. All while playing on the defensive end. 122 points in 4 games.

6’0 Sophmore guard Lincoln Norris broke our school record of 9 threes with a performance of 10 3’s and 32 pts on Monday vs Pella Christian in a big win and then 5 threes and 19 pts vs undefeated conference rival Albia on Tuesday. Friday night he continued his hot streak making a new school record 11 3’s vs cardinal hs, ending the week with 26 made threes on 62% shooting.
He now has 52 threes on the year thru 10 games and also leads us in steals per game and is a lock down defender for our 10-0 team that leads 3A in fewest PPG allowed at 39 ppg.

William Medina had a home game against his long time rival Florida College Academy where they ended up falling short . Despite the loss William Medina finished off the game with 47 points. But that’s not all this young man also achieved his 1,000 point mark that game as well . 2nd person to ever achieve the 1k point mark in his schools history and first male to ever achieve that 1k mark in his school as well . He’s also averaging a double-double with 30+ points a game and 10+ rebounds a game , 7 steals a game and 7 assists per game . He’s currently ranked #2 in the state for PPG and he’s leading his district in PPG , APG , RPG and steals per game .
