With finishing up the month on my last article for January I've decided the best approach is to combine award winners into one piece. Here are award winners for both weeks.

BUCKET GETTER

WEEK 6: TREA CUMBERLEDGE - FAIRMONT SENIOR

[player_tooltip player_id='2375557' first='Trea' last='Cumberledge'] knocked down 41 points vs Lewis County on January 15th in a performance that also included 9 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists. Cumberledge has taken the reigns of the Polar Bear squad and started leading them on an uptrend after a slower start than usual for the state runners up in AAA.

WEEK 7: ELI SANCOMB - WHEELING CENTRAL

[player_tooltip player_id='2211906' first='Eli' last='Sancomb'] does it again! Sancomb dropped 47 in a huge come back win over cross town private school LInsly. Sancomb who's won the Bucket Getter award two times prior just keeps filling it up and doing whatever his teams need to win big games. Scoring 47 also broke the Wheeling Central school record with this performance. Eli backed that performance up with a double double vs Weir with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.

NOTABLES: [player_tooltip player_id='2554047' first='Rasheed' last='Morrison'], [player_tooltip player_id='2694392' first='Lucas' last='Lambert'], [player_tooltip player_id='2324785' first='Bryson' last='Childers'], [player_tooltip player_id='2461904' first='Cole' last='Lemasters'], [player_tooltip player_id='1578731' first='Baustin' last='Bowers'], [player_tooltip player_id='2715910' first='Jerin' last='Westfall'] (31), [player_tooltip player_id='2340458' first='Marshall' last='Dorado'], [player_tooltip player_id='2303401' first='Ashton' last='Arthur'], [player_tooltip player_id='2243493' first='Braedy' last='Johnston'], [player_tooltip player_id='2303389' first='Jeremy' last='Phillips'], [player_tooltip player_id='2528455' first='Levi' last='Wanless'], [player_tooltip player_id='2326132' first='Eli' last='Patton'], [player_tooltip player_id='1578750' first='Jayden' last='Bryant'], [player_tooltip player_id='2686841' first='Austin' last='Porta'], [player_tooltip player_id='2303389' first='Jeremy' last='Phillips'] (31), [player_tooltip player_id='2754039' first='Brock' last='Green'], [player_tooltip player_id='2241530' first='Jaylon' last='Walton']

DOUBLE DOUBLER

WEEK 6: BRYSON CHILDERS - CALVARY BAPTIST

[player_tooltip player_id='2324785' first='Bryson' last='Childers'] has flown under the radar long enough and where here to tell you about it. The 6'5" wing has continued to post excellent numbers in every category and average 20ppg and 10 rebounds. Those numbers are impressive at any level but don't happen without some breakout games. Childers week 6 breakout game produced a 34 point outburst along with 13 rebounds vs Cross Lanes Christian last week.

WEEK 7: [player_tooltip player_id='2754039' first='Brock' last='Green'] - INDEPENDENCE

[player_tooltip player_id='2754039' first='Brock' last='Green'] continued his impressive freshman campaign with a 25 point and 15 rebound performance against defending champ Shady Spring in a close loss to the Tigers.

NOTABLES: [player_tooltip player_id='2385111' first='Caden' last='Ours'], [player_tooltip player_id='2241530' first='Jaylon' last='Walton']

DIME DROPPER

WEEK 6 & 7: MJ PATTON - SUMMIT CHRISTIAN

[player_tooltip player_id='2304715' first='MJ' last='Patton'] has not only continued his impressive scoring streak of twenty point games but has weekly put down and 8-10 assist game to go with it. These past two weeks were no different while Patton averaged 8 assists through three games.

NOTABLES: Jasiah King

BIG DOG

WEEK 6: ANDEN SANTAMARIA - MUSSELMAN

[player_tooltip player_id='2303399' first='Anden' last='Santamaria'] (TRIPLE DOUBLE ALERT!) posted a triple double from his post/forward position with 10 points, 10 rebounds and a super impressive 10 assists during week six match up against University. He followed that up with 22 points and 6 rebounds vs EPAC rival Washington.

WEEK 7: DREW FITZWATER - GREATER BECKLEY CHRISTIAN

[player_tooltip player_id='2241522' first='Drew' last='Fitzwater'] had a jam packed week of games during week seven and he took advantage of all three. Game one he posted 18 points and 10 rebounds, game two 10 and 10 and game three he had 20 points and a huge 19 boards and six assists from his post/forward position.

NOTABLES: [player_tooltip player_id='2509759' first='Chance' last='Watkins'], [player_tooltip player_id='2754039' first='Brock' last='Green'], [player_tooltip player_id='2241530' first='Jaylon' last='Walton']

FAB FROSH

WEEK 6 & 7: LUCAS LAMBERT - LOGAN

[player_tooltip player_id='2694392' first='Lucas' last='Lambert'] has lit it up time and time again this season and weeks 6 and 7 were no different. Playing the challenging AA schedule in West Virginia is tough enough but doing it as a freshman and performing at a high level is special averaging just over 20ppg. Lambert has been on fire since week one and not looked back. In week 6 he torched Buffalo High for 25 points then followed that up in week 7 with 15 vs Tug Valley and 24 against AAA powerhouse Chapmanville.

NOTABLES: [player_tooltip player_id='2639446' first='Dakota' last='Dalton'], [player_tooltip player_id='2425396' first='Jovante' last='Spencer'], [player_tooltip player_id='2311374' first='Kahsi' last='Morgan'], [player_tooltip player_id='2754039' first='Brock' last='Green'] (25 & 15)

LOCK EM UP

[player_tooltip player_id='2739640' first='Samuel' last='Hawver'] did a fantastic job guarding one of the state's top post players in [player_tooltip player_id='2241530' first='Jaylon' last='Walton']. Hawver while guarding Walton was nearly flawless holding him to six points and helped neutralize Jaylon who's dominating post play so far this season has seen him average over 20ppg.
