<p>Week 9 of the Indiana high school basketball is underway and we had a big slate of high school hoops going on last night in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at some highlights of Saturday's night of hoops.</p>

<p><strong>Lawrence North outlasts Plainfield</strong></p>

<p>Lawrence North hosting Plainfield was probably the biggest game on paper throughout the entire state and it certainly lived up to that billing. In a very close, back-and-forth battle throughout the entire game, Lawrence North was able to outlast Plainfield 70-61 to improve to 11-3 on the season. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Butler signee [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] with 26 point with junior power forwards [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] adding 16 points and [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] with 15 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2267048' first='Harper' last='Baker-Lands'] led the Quakers with 22 points while [player_tooltip player_id='2485792' first='Colton' last='East'] added 12 points. With the loss, Plainfield dropped to 9-6 on the year. Up next, Lawrence North will host North Central on 1/24.</p>

<p><strong>Charlestown survives Madison</strong></p>

<p>Down in southern Indiana, we had a really fun one going on between Charlestown and Madison. Madison has not had the best of year and was almost able to knockoff a tough Charlestown team however in the end, it was the Pirates that were able to win 67-58 behind a 27-point performance by [player_tooltip player_id='1922051' first='Anthony' last='Fresh']. Madison had a pair of 21-perfroamnces by Landon True and Carlos Salom. With the win, Charlestown is now 10-2 on the season. They will host Eastern (Perkin) on Friday. </p>

<p><strong>Indianapolis City Tournament First Round Results</strong></p>

<p>The annual Indianapolis City Tournament kicked off last night with the first round taking place in six different locations. The Quarterfinals are set for Thursday with the semifinals set for Saturday. The champion will be crowed next Monday (1/27). </p>
