Starting Five

[player_tooltip player_id='2618399' first='Grant' last='Freking'] of Jackson County Central (6'5 Sr). JCC got a big overtime win over a good Marshall team 71-67 and they are winning games without [player_tooltip player_id='1601069' first='Roman' last='Voss']. Grant gave his team 26 points, 11 rebounds and five assists as JCC continues to look like a team we better start talking about as a state contender. They are 8-0 as a top five area team and they still don't have their best player! Impressive. Big game from Freking the 6'5 senior who plays a lot of spots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1628773' first='Isaac' last='Asmus'] of Aitkin (6'9 Jr). Asmus went for 35 points dominating the middle as Aitkin earned an 82-62 win over Mille Lacs. It was the second win for Aitkin and it was an impressive dominating performance for their best player.

Sam Rupnow of Liberty (Jr). Sam scored 32 points for his team helping father (John Towlee) beat son (Zach Towle) in a fun game 86-77. Sam is scoring nearly 29 points a game for Liberty so far this season!

[player_tooltip player_id='1560867' first='Christian' last='Wiggins'] of Wayzata (6'4 Jr). The Wayzata four star recruit knocked out four threes scoring 21 points helping the [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] get a 92-65 win over Shakopee. It was a four-five score game most of the time and then the [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] really pulled away late

Job Ogeka of Windom (6'1 Sr). Windom improved to 6-4 on the season with a 105-72 win over MACCRAY. They were led by the 26 points game from Job who two days before that had a 15 assist game for his team! And two days before that Job had a 23 point, nine assist game!

Earned a spot!

Gavin Gillette of Murray County Central (6'0 Sr). Two days in a row for the MCC senior guard! Gavin made all seven of his foul shots scoring 16 points and then got an early seat as MCC beat Minneota 68-31.

Alex Fanson of Marshall (6'1 Sr). Marshall may have lost a game but they are having a heck of a run so far. Alex had 20 yesterday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] of Wayzata (6'7 Jr). Also scoring 20 was [player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] who hit another four threes as Wayzata beat Shako.
