[player_tooltip player_id='1539676' first='Reese' last='Walters'] |6'3 G| Grand Forks Red River

Important reserve who adds depth to a solid RR squad, averaging 5 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 1.7 apg, 40.6 FG%, 40 3FG%. I like his length, athleticism & versatility. He is skilled but will also do the dirty work. Walters was recently highlighted in a Rockstar Role Player article, click here to see that. Reese is an up-n-coming QB & well-rounded multisport athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237729' first='Ben' last='Hynek'] |6'7 C| Stanley

You can't teach/coach height & he has a large amount of it! The exciting thing about Hynek's game is that he keeps improving, there is still plenty of upside/potential. He is a tough matchup as he can score from 3-levels. Finishes well & protects the rim. Ben is an impressive multisport athlete who is getting college looks from D1 football programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237753' first='Wyatt' last='Weekley'] |6'2 G| ORCS

Wyatt has looked very comfortable as the primary ball handler & facilitator for the #9 ranked Knights. ORCS has just one loss this season, to #1 ranked & cross-town rival Minot Ryan, where Weekley led all scorers w/ 26 points. Weekley is a top-notch shooter, has great feel, skilled w/ the ball, is a cerebral player, and keeps improving on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237752' first='Luke' last='Starcevic'] |6'5 C| Kindred

He is the Vikings top reserve, Kindred is undefeated and ranked #1 in class A. Starcevic is a BIG, strong, tough, and athletic. He threw down a dunk earlier this season against Shiloh. You do not see 10th graders who are 6'5" 240 pounds dunking very often! Luke is a hard worker and has great feet. Starcevic looks to be a serious D1 football recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237807' first='James' last='Schindler'] |5'9 G| Grand Forks Red River

13.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 3.3 apg, 1.1 spg, 32.1 3FG%, 86.4 FT%. He runs the show as the PG for the Rough Riders. Schindler plays w/ tempo, control, skill, and a calm demeanor. He is a conscious decision-maker and a clever creator. James can also shoot the rock from deep, he is coming off a game where he hit 6 triples & poured in an impressive 27 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347912' first='Emerson' last='Marum'] |6'0 G| Bottineau

Marum had a nice season on varsity as a frosh and he upgraded his total game over the off-season. Emerson has now stepped up as the primary ballhandler, lead guard, splashy scorer & all-around DUDE for the Braves. It still early and Marum has had a few monster scoring games. Emmerson also handles pressure and creates shots for others.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132773' first='Crew' last='Rickard'] |5'11 G| Fargo North

This talented young Spartan is playing mostly JV, but Rickard's early varsity action includes a 4/4 start from behind the 3point arc! Watch for Crew to be Coach Hoeg's secret weapon down the stretch. He is skilled w/ the ball in his hands, his handles are impressive & he can make all the passes. Crew's shooting range is deep & he is a crafty finisher.

[player_tooltip player_id='1542352' first='Ethan' last='Retterath'] |6'2 SF| Washburn

A playmaker for the 4-0 Cards. A veteran player who has been on varsity since middle school. Retterath has always been known as a tough defensive player & a tireless worker. He is still locking people up but is starting to show off his offensive prowess. Ethan had a game earlier this season with 27 points & 6 3's! Overall, he is stuffing the stat sheet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1894872' first='Joran' last='Lohnes'] |6'2 SF| Four Winds-Minnewaukan

He is having a nice start to the season for the 3-2 Indians & is moving up the ladder quickly! Joran is a talented offensive ball player who can put up points in a variety of ways. He has a diversified game. Lohnes is a difference-maker from beyond the arc, he can bust a zone & spread out a defense. Joran is also a skilled & crafty player w/ good feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2114976' first='Brogan' last='Young'] |6'0 G| EKM

Mr. Young is a quality athlete, a hard worker, and a high-energy player. As a 6'0" 10th grader, Brogan is an outstanding rebounder, just yesterday, he recorded a Double-Double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. He is a three-level scorer with a fluid and accurate jump-shot. Young is an affluent finisher with both hands and an unselfish passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347908' first='Dean' last='Miller'] |6'5 C| Grand Forks Red River

With the Roughriders BIG and strong senior-led frontcourt, Miller is playing mostly JV. Dean has expanded his overall game and when he is not throwing down two-handed monster jams, he is looking very comfortable shooting the three-ball. Miller will have some big shoes to fill next year for RR, but he will be ready and is more than capable.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237858' first='Jack' last='Larson'] |5'10 G| Sheyenne

Larson has made an appearance off the bench in all seven of the Mustangs varsity games. He is getting more playing time than I anticipated, he must be looking good in practice. Jack is a quick and bouncy combo guard with sharp instincts. Larson is currently 3rd on the Mustangs in 3FGM, giving Coach Brandt another weapon at his disposal.
