I have always liked the way Schindler plays the game and I am excited to see him hoop live again. James is excellent with the ball in his hands. I really like his handles, shake, moves, demeanor on the court, and his finishing. Coach Krefting also brags James up as a defender. Is he the top PG at the event? Is he beating his primary defender off the bounce? How is his lateral quickness?

There’s a lot to like about Schindler’s game. He clearly passes the eye test with a high level of skill, and the way he carries himself on the court stands out. He plays bigger than his listed height and brings a confident, composed presence every time he steps on the floor. James put together a standout season, averaging 20.9 points per game on 46% shooting, along with 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists. He also posted a 19 efficiency rating per game, knocked down 55 threes at a 35% clip, and earned All-EDC honors. Heading into the club season, look for him to be one of the top guards coming out of the Dakotas. He’s definitely a player to watch, and one that college coaches will want to take a long, hard look at.
