William Penn has won 8 of their last 9 games and a great deal of that success is because of the stellar play of Barnes. Again, last night Barnes led WP scoring as he popped 3 triples on his way to 26 points. In addition to hitting from deep, Barnes relentlessly attacked the rim in transition and in the half-court. His ability to facilitate for teammates off the dribble was on full display too.

Flying under the radar on George School's deep roster is this athletic prospect with a highly accurate jump shot. On Friday night, Fleming stroked 5 treys as well as several mid-range jumpers as he posted 26 points. This long and sneaky quick Fleming also converted on several fast breaks for lay-ins. Fleming's efforts were a key part of George School's win over Westtown School. That victory moved GS into first place in the Friends League standings.

Sajid has received a handful of DI offers and after his performance on Friday night it is easy to see why. The top-rated shooting guard in our 2026 rankings hung 33 points on Wissahickon as “P-Dub” cruised to another win. Last night, Sajid's jumper was firing from all levels as he drained 6 threes and hit several pull ups as well. Sajid's speed and finishing skills enabled him to excel in the open court where he converted through contact. He also handed a slew of out assists on the fast break.

How Varella remains uncommitted is a mystery. Last night this athletic and solidly built guard with a quick burst battled through foul trouble to record 21 points (3 threes). Varella scored 9 of those points (1 three) in the 4th quarter as he rallied HGP for a come from behind win over Radnor. When he was not splashing threes, Varella scored off the dribble. His ability to attack the cup going left or right is impressive. Varella's continuous off-ball movement also led to a couple of back door lay-ins.

This lefty scoring machine is committed to East Stroudsburg University (D2) and after last night's 33-point explosion (5 threes) it is clear the Warriors hit the jack pot with Williams. Williams was simply dominant in SCH's defeat of Inter-Ac rival Haverford School. He scored at every level, was a beast on the glass as well as a plus defender. When faced with double teams, Williams was quick to distribute the ball to open teammates. Plus, Williams displayed the unique ability to grab a defensive rebound, get downhill quickly and then go coast-to-coast for a lay-in or assist.
