Just like that, the final month of the regular season in high school basketball is here and man, what a season it has been. We have seen many players across the state breakout, multiple great games, and still even have a few unbeaten teams remaining. With the final month about to start and Sectionals just right around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to take a look at 10 players to watch this final month. Here are the second 5 players to watch in February.

There certainly are a handful of our top in-state 2025s that are still on the board and [player_tooltip player_id='1297010' first='Damien' last='King'] is easily one of them. The 6-foot-5 wing out of Anderson has had one of the best seasons out any senior with his 21.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game for the Indians. He is one of the more versatile players you find in the 2025 class with his size allowing him to be an inside-out threat at a consistent level. Currently has offers from schools such as Western Carolina, Kent State, Wright State, Purdue Fort Wayne, NIU, and many others.

[player_tooltip player_id='2053658' first='Bryson' last='Cardinal'] may be the best big man in the in-state class of 2025 that is still on board. For Guerin Catholic, he has been the guy all season long with his near double-double average of 21.1 points and 9.8 rebounds a game. A guy that can flat-out produce at a high level, Cardinal is one of the more consistent bigs in the state around the basket and can really stuff a stat sheet. Holds offers from Missouri State, Eastern Illinois, and SIUE.

A shooter that has really broke out this season in the in-state 2026 class is Chesterton sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='1989437' first='Logan' last='Pokorney']. At 6-foot-4, Pokorney has been spectacular around on the wing for the Trojans and has seemingly had big game after big game. His size and scoring ability really standout when you watch him and there is so much confidence in his jumper. Expect him to finish strong this season and then parlay that into a strong summer.

There have been a few 2027 in-state prospects that have really caught our eye here at Prep Hoops Indiana and Homestead forward [player_tooltip player_id='2140416' first='Mack' last='Welker'] has been one of the players. We liked what we saw out of him as a freshman and this season as a sophomore, he has broken out at a very high level. Versatility is the name of Welker's game and plays with so much smoothness off the wing while also having a high motor on both ends. Recently got his first offer from Saint Francis with plenty more to come in the near future.

We have said it before and we will say it again, [player_tooltip player_id='2140352' first='Devin' last='Bolden'] is a name to get to know in the in-state 2027 class. Bolden, a 6-foot-7 power forward, has been phenomenal this season at Cardinal Ritter with his double-double average of 22.4 points and 12.1 rebound a game. This guy can dominate a game at a consistent rate and has proven that time and time again this season. It will be fun to watch him finish strong in February.
