In a blowout win over Lightridge, Mason set a new career high with 37 points. Riverside went 2-0 and has continued its stellar offensive play. Mason is this team's best player and one of the most complete offensive players. Max is one of the more slept-on players in this area, and he is this team's second-best scorer. Max can play either guard position, and he excels as a shooter off the ball. Max is a good defender and forces a lot of turnovers. He had 22 against Lightridge and filled the stat sheet in their blowout win. They have a pretty balanced attack, and there are a handful of players who have impressed me this year. This week, [player_tooltip player_id='2242426' first='Brennan' last='Pilot'] had a couple of solid games for Yorktown. Brennan can play either guard position, is a plus defender, and is a knockdown shooter. Josh is a physical and strong interior presence who gives you a lot on both ends. Josh is a football player as well, so you know he won't shy away from contact. Josh is a good finisher and is a player you can dump the ball down to for a score. [player_tooltip player_id='2353606' first='Amani' last='Asare'] had a big game, and he has had a nice year following his transfer from Bishop O'Connell. Amani is quick and an outstanding passer. Amani attacks the rim well, even being one of the smallest guys on the court. He is a good shooter and is a threat from anywhere on the court. Noah is a great defender and is a terrific rebounder. He plays almost every position for this Woodson team and does everything on both ends. Noah does a great job attacking the rim with his size and strength. Noah can knock down outside shots and is a matchup nightmare. Noah had a big week with his big performance coming in a competitive win over Robinson, where he had an efficient 31 points.
