2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1765506' first='Brady' last='Boulton'] (Montezuma) -- 54 points (18-28 FG, 6-10 3P, 12-16 FT), 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks [vs. Centerville]

Boulton was electric against Centerville last week, dropping a state-high 54 points while showcasing his ability to score from all three levels. His steady improvement as a playmaker off the dribble has been fun to watch, and he was excellent with the ball in his hands against the Big Reds.

2025 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2721643' first='Derek' last='Paulsen'] (South O'Brien) -- 46 points (18-18 FG, 4-4 3P, 6-8 FT), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 1 block [vs. Akron-Westfield]

It's hard to play any better than Paulsen did against the Westerners, going a perfect 18-18 from the floor, a number that supposedly included an eye-popping 8 dunks in the game. And while his remarkable efficiency, including the perfect 4-4 from behind the arc, was impressive, so was his playmaking and shot creation for his teammates, dishing out six helpers as well.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='1765538' first='Ben' last='Ramsey'] (IKM-Manning) -- 42 points (14-26 FG, 7-11 3P, 7-9 FT), 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals [vs. Ekira-EHK]

Another big scoring game in 1A last week, Ramsey showed his ability to score inside and out throughout the game against the Spartans. He shoots it well off both the dribble and the catch, and he proved to be a strong playmaking threat as well with his lofty assist numbers.

2025 SF Peyton Roth (HLV) -- 40 points (12-20 FG, 4-7 3P, 12-13 FT), 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 5 steals [vs. English Valleys]

Roth posted a huge double-double against English Valleys and was really efficient in doing so. He routinely got to the free-throw line and converted his chances, and showed his ability to step out and stretch the floor.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1765504' first='Nicolas' last='Ballenger'] (St. Albert) -- 26 points (9-22 FG, 7-15 3P, 1-2 FT), 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Glenwood]

Going up against a much larger, 3A school, Ballenger kept the Falcons in the game with his ability to step out and knock down shots off the dribble and the catch. He's a big-time 3-point shooting threat who can really torch opponents when he gets rolling.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1978106' first='Shay' last='Stephens'] (Notre Dame) -- 29 points (11-16 FG, 2-5 3P, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, 16 assists, 6 steals [vs. Danville]

A truly ridiculous stat line from Stephens, delivering a triple-double against Danville while also showing a penchant for thievery on the defensive end. He's in the midst of a breakout junior year for the Nikes, and this showing was just the latest in a number of big-time showings.

2028 C [player_tooltip player_id='2772337' first='Aaden' last='Movall'] (St. Mary's, Storm Lake) -- 31 points (13-23 FG, 0-2 3P, 5-8 FT), 20 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 blocks [vs. Whiting]

The Panthers are having a rough year, but Movall has been a bright spot as a freshman, including this masterpiece against Whiting. A big, athletic 6-5 forward with soft hands, good touch, and a nose for the basketball, he has been really good this season.

2026 PF Lane Flesher (Mormon Trail) -- 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-6 FT), 7 rebounds, 1 steal, 8 blocks [vs. Lamoni]

The junior big man was dominant in the paint against the Demons, controlling the glass, scoring efficiently around the rim, and protecting the paint defensively in a significant way, turning away eight shots in the contest. An impressive two-way performance in a low-scoring win.
