Barber's defensive performance on Sunday was one of the best defensive performances I have seen in my time as a scout. His on-the-ball defense was amazing. The entire game he never gave anyone an inch. If you were loose with the ball at all around him it was a turnover. He has great length with nice quickness. He is an incredibly fast player who constantly gets in front of you and cuts you off to make you change direction. He has such high energy and intensity on the defensive end. He was always on the right side on the help side. He caused two charges on guard trying to push him off of them. He was incredible and changed the game on the defensive end alone.

Young is the Mr. Consistent and the glue guy for this Westerville North squad that has a real chance to go to Dayton. His defense and doing the little things, like always, was off the charts in this one. He did a great job of when this game got close in the second half of getting to the rim and scoring when he needed to. He drove through the defense time after time and was super physical. He is someone you can lean on and this is the second time I watched the Warriors play this year, they needed to lean on him and he provided.

Noles is someone you just know is going to have a winning impact on the game. He knows how to manipulate and play the game in a way that helps his team win. He has a great size and build that allows him to play and guard any position on the floor. He guarded a 6'9 big kid and held his own. He has a high IQ and confidence in his game. He has a calming presence, and you trust the ball in his hands. He is a leader that you can see his teammates feed off of it. He did a good job of attacking pressure. He did it all on both ends of the floor for DeSales. Did a great job of rebounding.

Parker is someone who played with a great competitive edge and energy. He played in a physical game, and it ended up coming down to who could make more plays. Parker had a huge moment in the third quarter to give Liberty the lead and created some separation that was never overcome. He did a good job of hitting shots in the paint. He made multiple fading-away shots to give Liberty a ton of momentum. He played physical and tough.
