The 2028 rankings watch list is here with nearly 50 prospects taking part. The point guard group is filled with talent and has made their impact felt on the court already this season. Here are the 2028 point guards to watch from the initial watch list.

[player_tooltip player_id='2349988' first='Michai' last='White'], 6'1 St. Benedict's Prep

White has been on an absolute tear to start his varsity career as he already has a 30-point game under his belt. The 6'1 guard plays with composure on the ball as he rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure and gets to his spot on the floor. White is a crafty finisher around the basket and has a smooth release on his jumper. He has the ability to play off the ball as well and is a solid rebounder. White has the ability to put up points in bunches as he will be a prospect to watch throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504745' first='Chase' last='Bray'], 5'9 St. Benedict's Prep

White isn't the only Gray Bees point guard who's made an impact so far as Bray has started off the season hot as well. The 5'9 guard has smooth shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Bray is more than just a shooter as he uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and finishes nicely around the rim. He rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and is a solid defender. Bray is a tough guard prospect who should continue to torch the nets from distance for St. Benedict's Prep this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397968' first='Connor' last='Junker'], 5'8 Gill St. Bernard's

Junker has made big plays for the Knights in the early part of the season and should continue to do so in 2025. The 5'8 guard wastes little motion in his release and can knock down triples in bunches. Junker moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself up for easy jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He pushes the ball nicely in transition and can find his open teammates. Junker opened his varsity career with three straight double-digits performances and should have performances like that this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2683646' first='Aaron' last='Feath'], Hillsborough

Feath has provided the Raiders with a spark this season as he is averaging nearly 10 points per game. He has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Feath can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated passer. Feath drilled six triples against Rutgers Prep this season and has the potential for more games like that in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194627' first='Tyree' last='Thorp'], 6'0 Lenape

Thorp has the ability to play on and off the ball, making him an intriguing prospect to watch. The 6'0 guard uses his handle to create space for himself off the bounce and finishes nicely around the basket. Thorp can also score in the mid-range and rarely forces bad shots in the halfcourt. He plays with great instincts and quick hands on defense, which he uses to generate steals. Thorp has three games this season with at least four steals and should have more games like that over the next couple of months.
