Monday the latest PHI Class of 2027 Rankings were unveiled! We examine the sophomore class in depth this week including here in 2027 Rankings: Wing New Additions!

[player_tooltip player_id='2328086' first='Amari' last='Dukes'] (TF South)

Dukes is a long and rangy 6'4” shooting guard that caught our Steve Parham's attention during the first half of the season. Athletic wing who gets to the rim a lot and makes trips to the foul line. Potential as shooter. Quick second jump around the hoop and flashed as a passer off dribble penetration.

[player_tooltip player_id='2749981' first='Rowan' last='Weller'] (Edwardsville)

Weller caught our eye with his play against Alton where he locked down their star Stampley in the first half holding him scoreless. Nice size and length with the ability to stay in front of his opponent. Showed some creativity off the bounce along with a good mid-range jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2749984' first='James' last='Johnson'] (Belleville East)

Johnson is probably going to end up going the football route in college as we saw him shine as a pass catcher this season, but don't want to count him out yet as a hooper at the next level. Plus athlete at 6'3” that brings good pop on both ends of the floor. Smooth and fluid with explosive ability with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125636' first='Jackson' last='Snider'] (West Aurora)

This 6'5” three man brings quality size to the position along with sharp shooting from three. Also flashed some handles when we saw him in December.

[player_tooltip player_id='2439344' first='Chas' last='Ontiveros'] (Morton)

The 6'4: wing was the top prospect for Morton when we evaluated him over the holidays. Plus shooter from three with projectability.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750011' first='Tyler' last='Devilder'] (Waterloo)

Devidler is a 6'2” shooting guard that had a knack for getting to the foul line and we liked his potential as a shooter when we saw Waterloo in the first half of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750017' first='Jimmy' last='Watts'] (Fenwick)

At 6'0” Watts caught our attention at Chicago Elite Classic in their rivalry game vs OPRF. He made several threes in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750020' first='Carson' last='Trivellini'] (Crystal Lake South)

This 6'2” sophomore is a scorer that is at his best when putting it on the deck and winning for nifty scores at the cup.
