<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The updated Prep Hoops Illinois 2026 Rankings were released on Monday.&nbsp; All this week we will be breaking them down including here in <strong>2026 Rankings: Post Stock Risers</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1552460' first='Bryce' last='Wegrzyn'] (Libertyville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The big man from Libertyville has left no doubt each time we have seen him play as a junior.&nbsp; At 6'8” he is a five man that is a force around the basket.&nbsp; That included an absolutely dominant performance at the Wheeling Hardwood Classic he scored 33 points barely playing half the game.&nbsp; That is just a taste of what he has done in the first half of the season!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323283' first='Chris' last='Bolte'] (St. Ignatius)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We saw potential in this four man over the summer, but he has consistently been Iggy's second best player on a nightly basis.&nbsp; Stretch four that can shoot it from distance being effective as a spot up shooter along with in the pick and pop.&nbsp; Good screener and can attack with slashes from the high post area.&nbsp; Good athlete that plays above the rim and is a very good defensive presence with his shot blocking along with toughness around the hoop.&nbsp; Rebounds well in his area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323270' first='Jordan' last='Williams'] (Fremd)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This 6'6” power forward has strength, athleticism, and skill.&nbsp; Can win off the dribble with his physicality and spin moves.&nbsp; Runs the floor very well, gets on the offensive glass, and consistently puts pressure on the rim with the ball in his hands.&nbsp; Pops athletically on both ends of the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323329' first='Kyle' last='Johnson'] (Althoff)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is a lefty four who has been on our radar for several years.&nbsp; When we saw him at the Collinsville Holiday Tournament he seemed to be coming into his own as a 6'5” undersized four that can stretch the floor, utilize spin moves around the cup, and finish off cuts at the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
