<p>Hosted by the Newark Board of Education, the Brick City Showdown Classic returned this year to Weequahic High School for a fourth day of competitive matchups featuring some of North Jersey's best programs as well as individual players. With a little bit of a deeper slate of matchups on day four, let's take a deeper dive into some of the standouts from Sunday's action at the wing position. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Gerald Edwell used his size and strength to bully defenders and live in the paint. Edwell was able to finish around the basket in a multitude of ways as well as live on the offensive and defensive glass for Payne Tech. Edwell finished the game with 20 points and 10 rebounds. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jekhi Burnam used his length and his athleticism to impact the game on both sides of the basketball for Linden. Burnam displayed his downhill attacking ability alongside his ability to knock down open shots on the perimeter. Burnam was also active on the glass, finishing the game with 11 rebounds. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1557544' first='Jordan' last='Torres'] did a good job of playing within the flow of Elizabeth's offense. Whether that was receiving dump offs around the basket and finishing at the rim, making the extra pass and keeping the ball moving, being active on the glass, or running the floor in transition, Torres was able to find multiple ways to impact the game. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Luke Lokmanchuk displayed much of his unique combination of both size and offensive skill. Standing at 6'9", Lokmanchuk's performance Sunday saw him run the floor well in transition and finish above the rim, knock down open shots from three point range off the catch, as well as use his length and athleticism to not only be active on the glass but also protect the rim. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">In combination with his high motor, [player_tooltip player_id='2763441' first='Martin' last='Drejaj'] was able to be a nice connective piece for Linden and impact the game in multiple ways. Drejaj knocked down a few open catch and shoot threes, finish around the basket, get active on the glass and contribute in the rebounding department, and keep the ball moving in the flow of Linden's offense. Drejaj finished the game with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. </p>
