Who were the best five performers from week one? We give that Thanksgiving week top players list now!   One. [player_tooltip player_id='2121382' first='Noah' last='Stencel'] (Sr) and [player_tooltip player_id='1617713' first='Harrison' last='Lupkes'] (Jr) of Princeton. The Tigers won only four games last year but they started this season off right beating Hermantown 95-87 in the opener. After taking a beating all of 23-24, Stencel had 34 and Lupkes had 32 kicking off the season in a "its our turn" kind of way.   Two. [player_tooltip player_id='1385264' first='Isaiah' last='Mahal'] of Northfield (Sr). In a win over St. Peter Isaiah kicked off his year with a 33 point, seven rebound game. Mahal drew ten fouls leading to his 13 of 16 foul shooting plus he had three steals in the victory.   Three. [player_tooltip player_id='2104541' first='Jack' last='Battaglia'] of Cloquet (Sr). The Lumberjacks beat Chisago Lakes in a key sectional win and Battaglia made 8 of 17 field goals (9 of 11 foul shots) scoring 27 points plus he had six assists and six rebounds with three steals. It was the right game for his team to kick off the season.   Four. [player_tooltip player_id='2126460' first='Donte' last='Branch'] of South St. Paul (Soph). Branch helped SSP to an 88-55 win over Columbia Heights with 23 points on 9 of 15 shooting highlighted by three threes plus three steals. Good win for the Packers to start the year.   Five. Carson Lorenzen of Randolph (Jr). Carlson led his team to a win over Mayer Lutheran with a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds! Lorenzen made seven of nine foul shots and most importantly led his team to a season opening victory.
