36 to 13…After destroying the competition all fall, McKoy has now played tremendous hoops to open the 2024-24 season. In December, this three-level scoring point guard hung 29 points (5 threes) on Reading, 29 points (3 threes) on La Salle and 25 points (3 threes) on Cumberland Valley. Obviously McKoy can produce points from behind the arc. However, this “big guard's” most impressive skill set may be his ability to work as a primary ball handler. McKoy has the speed, handles and instincts to blow past defenders and score of the dribble. He can also play bully ball against small defenders to get to his spots. Plus, McKoy can push the fast break for scores or assists. McKoy's court vision and unselfish nature make him a creative distributor. Recently assistant coaches from Villanova were in to watch McKoy.

83 to 21…This former New Jersey standout (St. Peter's Prep) has quickly found a role with his new team as a point guard who stuffs the stat book. Last weekend at the Jordan Holiday Classic, Miller recorded 23 points, 7 boards and 3 steals in a win over Phelps School. That fantastic performance was just the latest 20-point effort from Miller this season. As a point guard, Miller uses his quick bursts and elusive handles to get into the paint for lay-ins, floaters and kick out passes. He can also pilot the fast break and splash threes off the dribble. He excels in pick-n-roll action too. When he plays off the ball, Miller is a threat to pop threes from logo distance and slash to the cup for scores in traffic. Miller holds offers from Albany, American, Stonehill, Bryant, Holy Cross, and Penn.

109 to 79…On a Westtown squad that is filled with DI perimeter prospects, Walker has carved out a role for himself as a big man who is willing to do the dirty work that produces wins. Walker is an athletic and sneaky quick traditional power forward. His offensive game is extremely efficient. Walker does the bulk of scoring damage via dives to the rim, the offensive glass and by operating on the baseline as well as in the dunker spot. He runs the floor extremely well for his size, so Walker is a threat on the secondary break. In all these scoring scenarios, Walker will not hesitate to cram on an opponent's head. Earlier this month Walker scored 19 points against College Achieve (NJ). On defense, Walker is an elite shot blocker.

264 to 255…This fall I watched Vacchiano tear up the Comp Edge Fall League with his three-level scoring skills. Thus, I expected he would have an impressive junior campaign. But so far in 2024-25 Vacchiano has exceeded those expectations. Operating as a score-first point guard, Vacchiano has already posted 30 points (4 threes) in a win over Harriton, 24 points (and 8 rebounds) against North Penn as well as 22 points (4 threes) versus Abington. Vacchiano can splash jumpers from the baseline to the mid-range to well behind the arc. His quick release and ability to shoot off the dribble at every level make Vacchiano extremely difficult to guard. If a defender crowds Vacchiano, he will use a straight-line drive to get to the rack for a lay-in. Vacchiano's high IQ enables him to recognize mismatches and then exploit those advantages.
