In the first two games of the season, he made 5-of-11 3-pointers. He grabbed 10 rebounds against Atrisco Heritage. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1687863' first='Kayle' last='Covington'], Lovington</strong>: The Wildcats went 3-1 at a tournament in Denver City, TX and they now prepare for Tuesday's road test at Clovis. Few players have been better than the 6-foot-4 Covington in the first two weeks. He's averaging 21.8 points, 10.3 rebounds and 6.0 steals per game. If he continues that pace, he'll be a strong 4A Player of the Year contender.    </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1176299' first='Daniel' last='Lovato'], ABC Prep</strong>: The 6-foot-6 Lovato made the move to ABC Prep this summer and so far he's been outstanding against elite competition. Incredibly, he has made 16-of-17 2-point shot attempts. Inside the arc, he doesn't miss. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1687828' first='Abraham' last='Pena'], Hobbs</strong>: The Eagles are 5-0 after capturing the City of Champions Classic Title this past weekend with a victory over Artesia in the championship game. Before the season, he picked up a couple of offers and took an unofficial visit to Texas Tech.
