Winters was a player that won the game for Richmond. He was doing it all for them on both ends of the floor. He was a leader on his team and a winner. He was guarding the center for Northland but playing guard on the other end knocking down threes. He is a skilled player who can knock down shots but is focused on doing the little things. He was in the right spot on the help side all game. Focused on defending the center for Northland even though he is a skinnier guard. He showed an immense amount of toughness. Winters made me a huge fan after his performance on Friday night.

Crosby is a player you want on your team. He is a winner and a leader. He led Walnut Ridge to a tough OT win over VASJ because of his big impact on winning. He has a strong frame and build and knows how to use it. Physical kid that dictates contact and can get to the basket whenever he wants. He has a really nice midrange jump shot. Crosby can play inside and out. He made a ton of hustles and plays. The best thing about him is he makes everyone around him better.

Evans has the skill and talent that you want in a player. He handles the ball well for a bigger guard and because of his size, he gets the rim well. St. Ed's applies a lot of pressure, and he did a good job of attacking it. He showed off his toughness because he used his body well to get rebounds. He used his body effectively to help him score around the basket.

Johnson has the things you look for in a point guard. He is a great pass-first player and plays the game the right way. Basketball is a simple game, and Johnson keeps it that way. He gets the ball to the right player on the court every time down the court. He is a quick player with a quick first step to get by defenders. He has a good handle on the ball and always has his head up to see the whole floor. He is a tough kid with a high motor.
