We just shouted out Stinson as I watched him on Sunday with Western Reserve Academy. Our evaluation hasn't changed from that point. You can click here to read that article. Expect Stinson to be a spring commit to a Division I program, he has all the tools you'd be looking for in a wing guard.

I've sadly only been able to catch Ridesic at a practice with Western Reserve but their frontcourt has Division I targets and Ridesic was physical and dominant on the interior. A no-nonsense type player, Ridesic sets tough screens and wants to roll to the rim with the intention of dunking on a defender. He also flashed some baseline mid-range ability as well. This is another no-brainer Division I target who has moved to Ohio and should see a spike in his recruitment as a senior.

A standout at the Toledo Top 64, that's actually the only setting I've seen Gerken play in person. A wing who can move fluidly with a solid frame, it's no surprise regional college programs have become interested in Gerken due to his size, skill and production. We'll see what type of numbers Gerken can put up as a senior and if he can lead Liberty Benton to a conference and district title this winter.

Another prep school new name to know, Walsh is currently injured so I didn't get to see him on Sunday at Ohio Prep Conference action. In practice I saw Walsh as a big who could rim run, rebound and has the size that small college programs are looking for. A high academic prospect as well, that should open the door for college programs to recruit him at a variety of levels and locations. Most college programs are still looking for size in the 2025 class and Walsh fits the bill.

I didn't know about Akindele until he came and competed at the Prep Hoops Expo this fall. That got him on our radar but a strong performance at the Ohio Valley Hoops Classic got him into our rankings. That game has been his breakout performance of the season but he's still averaging 13 PPG on 7/12 from 3-point range through three contests, the Thunderhawks are 3-0 as well. I think Akindele is a perfect fit at the small college level due to his body, strength and shooting ability. If he wants to play college basketball, he should have no trouble finding local colleges interested in him.
