Paradise Valley @ North Canyon

Here's who stood out......

[player_tooltip player_id='2682477' first='Jayven' last='Wynn'] Kofa (Pictured)

Jayven is a 6'1" Combo Guard that has a good all around game. In the game against Paradise Valley, he had 13 points on 5/11 shooting while also tacking on a few threes. He had a couple fadeaway mid range shots that were nice as well as some off the dribble stepback threes. He has a decent handle and to add on, he is very athletic and quick, he can grab rebounds out of his area and finish above the rim at times. His form is unique but he gets enough height on his jumper to where he doesn't get blocked usually.

[player_tooltip player_id='2423161' first='Brenden' last='Goodman'] Paradise Valley

Brenden is one of those players who doesn't need the ball to impact games. With his quickness and size, he disrupts teams' offensive flow by picking up 94 feet. In the game I watched against North Canyon, he had six steals. He also has the ability to knock in a couple catch and shoot threes if he has enough space as well as finish tough transition layups through contact. Brenden is one of those players that does the little things in order for his team to win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412234' first='Landri' last='Pinckney'] North Canyon

Landri in the game against North Canyon, had 22 points on 8/15 shooting while knocking down a few threes. He can score from all three levels. He had some nice acrobatic finishes at the rim, a couple floaters from a little below the free throw line, and he's good to knock down threes in catch and shoot situations as well. Landri is a very skilled guard for his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2697397' first='Isaiah' last='Carter'] La Joya

Isaiah is a 6'4" combo guard with a wiry build and a decent handle. He also has solid athleticism that allows him to meet players at the rim and block shots as well as getting to rebounds before others. In the game against Paradise Valley, he had 22 points and 9 rebounds on 7/12 shooting, adding on a couple threes as well. He had a few finishes through contact in traffic as well, one of those was a go ahead finish at the rim to force overtime. As far as rebounding goes, he was more active on the defensive glass as opposed to the offensive glass, but in the few offensive rebounds he did have, he had some solid put-back tip ins. Isaiah is for sure an under-looked name in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2697400' first='Lando' last='Certo'] Paradise Valley

In his second game back, coming off of a Torn ACL, Lando had 18 points and 6 rebounds on 7/15 shooting and had 4 threes to complement that. In this game against North Canyon, he was playing out of the high post and corner a lot due to zone defense. He had a good feel of how to attack the zone however, diving from the middle and getting a couple nice layups in traffic as well as hitting threes catch and shoot from the corner. He had a couple tough putbacks off offensive rebounds as well.
