REDONDO BEACH — Redondo Union high school and head coach Reggie Morris, Jr. played host to the annual Jordan Brand Take Flight Challenge over the weekend which featured top programs from Southern California, Arizona and Texas. We were in attendance for all eight games and below are some class of 2028 prospects who stood out.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750226' first='Austin' last='Kirksey'] | 2028 | Bishop Montgomery

Kirksey flashed a polished offensive skill-set complete with fluid and fundamental shooting mechanics and the ability to create for himself and others off the bounce. The 6-foot-1 combo guard possesses good feel for the game and an understanding of how to play within a structured team concept.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703091' first='Cameron' last='Anderson'] | 2028 | Eastvale Roosevelt

Anderson is the lone underclass prospect who will see key minutes this season for a loaded Roosevelt squad and it is because of his intangibles. It may sound cliche, but the 6-foot-3 guard/wing does all of the little things that don't show up in the box score and makes impactful plays and decisions on the defensive end. The wiry, athletic freshman stars in his role and has mastered that difficult step as a young prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2746607' first='Josh' last='Lowery'] | 2028 | Legacy Christian Academy

Lowery has all of the physical tools and skill-set you look for in a high-level long-term prospect. The freshman possesses a sturdy 6-foot-5 frame with room to build on and his ability to score inside and out stood out in Legacy's three-point loss to St. Monica. Lowery is a fluid ball handler who uses his size, ball skills and shooting touch to create for himself and teammates off the bounce.

JR Mosely | 2028 | Legacy Christian Academy

Mosely showed some impressive feel and IQ at the point guard spot for having only played 10 high school games. The 6-foot-2 freshman has a strong 175-pound frame and knows how to use it to stay on balance through contact and protect the ball when pressured. Mosley got consistent paint touches and made smart decisions on when to score and when to distribute.

Titan Griffith | 2028 | St. Monica

Griffith has a similar game to his older brother, and now St. Monica teammate, Justice, in that they are both relentless competitors on the defensive end and aggressive attackers of the rim offensively. Titan is a wiry 6-footer with speed, athleticism and quick-twitch instincts when it comes to changing speed and direction offensively or reacting swiftly to a defensive miscue.
