Player Evals: Hartland, DCD, Adrian And Detroit Central – Part 2

I really liked the pace at which he played and his downhill attack. Robinson had a pretty drive and dish with a defender on his hip. He had another one that sliced through defenders in the lane. Some seemed surprised that a name other than Elam led Adrian in scoring this year, but trust me, Francis is more than ready to add his scoring pop to the equation. He's a stone cold shooter and Detroit Central knew it, so they were in his face all night. I like the physicality that he played with. McDonald has a strong frame that allows him to play that way with success. He can take the ball to the rim and touch paint. And they were generally big plays. Essenmacher had a nose for the ball and seemed to always be in the mix or have an influence on loose balls. He has a lot of muscle for an underclassman and that is a huge advantage for him. Marino used that strength and frame with a bulldog contested finish on the offensive end. I liked the way that he controlled pace and set the offense. He's just a good lead guard. Polley hit a cutter with a pin point pass and otherwise just got the ball to it's spots. Polley was able to get to the free throw line and score from there. He also hit a nice mid range floater.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
