Player Evals: Dearborn @ Chelsea And Lake Orion @ Novi – Part 2

He's long and looks thin, but he fools you in that way. Matusik in fact showed that can play with finesse AND physicality. He even scored at the rim through contact early in the game. Matusik plays extremely well off the screen and roll and a 2 man game with Blanton. He set a solid screen, rolled off of it pass ready and converted on finishes. It was exciting to see how his game has developed and he's definitely a player and prospect to keep an eye on. Haidar was huge off the bench for Dearborn. He has always been a shooter and was again in this game. And most of them were BIG. He was solid with the ball in his hands and got it to it's spots. Scott gave up the ball knowing that if he put in the work off of it, it'd be coming back. And come back it did. Scott was the leading scorer for Lake Orion with 13 points. He buried 3 triples with 2 of them coming off the catch. He was pretty crafty with the ball throughout the game. Lynch found the lane with a slick spin move and drew a foul. He also utilized a left to right crossover combo that led to free throws. Lynch even had a baseline take that he finished with a leaning floater. Lynch distributed creatively with a nice over the top and cross court feed for an assist. Boos and Blanton is a more than formidable backcourt. Boos was intelligently aggressive early with a steal and then a tough righty drive and a finish off contact. We've seen Boos groove his jumper before so it was no surprise to see him hit a few in this game. He hit multiple catch and shoot corner triples and also hit a 3 pointer from the top in the first overtime period.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
