NOVA Standouts Of The Week 12/26/24-12/29/24 Part 2

Cade is a good shooter and a fantastic defender. He does a good job putting the ball on the floor when defenders close out on him and has been a bright spot on this Langley squad. Cam had 20 points in all three of Fairfax's games and led Fairfax to a 2-1 record at the Myrtle Beach Shootout by the Sea. He made an all-tourney team, averaging a little over 22 a game. Cam is athletic and does a great job finishing at the rim. The player that stood out to me the most was Heritage Sophomore Forward Liam Roane. Liam does great work in the paint and is a great finisher. Liam had double digits in each game, and he finished off the tournament with a game-winner against undefeated Atlee in the final. Riverside won the Cheers Sports Holiday Tourney, and they had contributions from a lot of players and had multiple guys make an all-tourney team. Mason was named the tourney MVP and had an all-around elite tourney. Mason is an elite scorer and had 2 20 point games. Mason's growth as a player is what he does as a passer, and with his shot selection. They've already surpassed their win total from last year, and they have a handful of solid guards. [player_tooltip player_id='1966646' first='Noah' last='Barnhart'] is one of those great guards, and he is one of the better ones in NOVA. I always enjoy Noah's intensity and attitude, and he always plays the game harder than anyone on the floor. Noah is a good driver and scores all over the court. He had 24 in a win over Mount Vernon and had 12 in a blowout win over Justice earlier in the week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
