It was a big game for two really good teams, and it was competitive throughout. Sep Duggal contributed in a big way for Riverside in this game. Sep knocked down a lot of big shots from deep, and he was scrappy on the defensive side of the ball. Sep finished with 12 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1963533' first='Ryan' last='Brzezanski']'s move to Broad Run was tabbed as one of the more impactful transfers in NOVA, and so far that proved true. I felt that watching Ryan at Briar and in other places, his skill set was limited when you stuck him in the post a lot. When Ryan is facing up against bigs and driving, there are very few players that can stay with him while also being his size. Ryan has a nice jump shot as well. Ryan was terrific Vs Riverside, even in a loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2780090' first='Max' last='Lawson'] had a great day on both ends for Riverside against Broad Run. Max knocked down a couple of threes and got out in transition to finish so easy buckets. Max is a good passer, and he is an underrated piece for Riverside. Max filled the stat sheet this game and finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.

Woodgrove is missing a lot of talent because of injury, so they have looked to Senior Big Dane Marsh a lot this year. Woodgrove looked to Dane a lot for his scoring inside, and he really battled inside for a lot of his points. Dane at nothing else will give you elite rebounding and paint protection, but he is a good interior scorer as well. Dane has been fantastic on the offensive glass and finished with game with 21 rebounds to go along with his 18 points. Dane passes the ball well and is a decent jump shooter.

Over the summer, [player_tooltip player_id='1767547' first='Ethan' last='Salvatierra'] was a guy that I looked at as a guy more people should keep their eye on. Ethan passes well and plays hard on both ends. Ethan had a great week and was big in leading Forest Park to a 3-0 week. Ethan had a big 20-point game in a blowout win over Garfield and had a couple of nice performances in Forest Park's other game of the week.
