We're halfway through the month of December and in New England that means that the prep calendar is well underway and the state associations have finally seen their seasons tip off.

With that being said, it's a good time to check in on some of the region's latest commitments, as a handful have come off the board this month.

[player_tooltip player_id='2198865' first='Andrew' last='Urosevic']

Urosevic came off the board when he announced his commitment to Lehigh University. One of New England's top shot makers, he has deep range on his jumper, can make them off the catch or the bounce, and does a nice job of leveraging his shooting to get into the paint. He can operate as a secondary ball-handler when needed and does a nice job of keeping the ball moving as a distributor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546812' first='Nasir' last='Rodriguez']

Rodriguez made his college plans official with a commitment to Fairfield University. A big wing scorer, he gets it done at all three levels while also providing some playmaking in the backcourt. He can get hot in a hurry from behind the arc and has already had multiple 20+ point games this season. Defensively, he has a lot of versatility and is disruptive on the ball and in passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2638185' first='Tait' last='Christensen']

Christensen put an end to his recruitment when he announced that he'll attend Johns Hopkins University. A high IQ, versatile big man, he does a nice job of operating with the ball in his hands at the top of the key. He makes good decisions as a passer, can score in the paint in isolation situations, and is a high level defender in the post that doesn't foul while controlling the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2685923' first='Elijah' last='Parker']

Parker decided to stay close to home when he announced that he'll attend Central Connecticut State University. A good athlete with the size to play either spot in the backcourt, he's a crafty ball handler that can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. He does a nice job of attacking in the open floor and consistently knocks down shots from behind the arc. He's a solid on ball defender that can guard either backcourt spot effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529132' first='Drew' last='Kahn']

Kahn's recruitment came to a close when he commited to the University of Chicago. One of the better long range shooters in New England, he's capable of getting his points with the ball in his hands or moving without it. He's developing as a playmaker, both for himself and for others, showing the ability to get into the paint off the bounce, finisher over since by the rim, and find open shooters on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2634080' first='Jackson' last='Labkon']

Labkon confirmed his college plans when he announced that he'll attend the University of Rochester. A solid point of attack defender, he can guard either spot in the backcourt and does a good job of quickly turning stops into transition offense. He makes shots from behind the arc, does a good job of creating when asked to be an initiator, and knows how to get to his scoring spot both in the mid-range and at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325848' first='Ricardo' last='Nieves']

Nieves came off the board with a commitment to Tufts University. He has great size on the perimeter and thrives as an on ball defender, capable of stopping opponents at the point of attack while creating turnovers. Offensively, he's a good open floor athlete that can really get to the rim in transition and has shown a growing skillset in the halfcourt as both a scorer and facilitator.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202209' first='Jalen' last='Harper']

Harper ended his recruitment with an announcement that he'll attend the University of Rhode Island. A high level athlete that does a great job of turning the corner and getting downhill as a ball handler, he's improved as a primary distributor that knows how to get into the paint, draw defenders, and then find teammates for easy baskets. His positional size and athleticism allows him to be a terrific perimeter defender as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546823' first='Riley' last='Dering']

Dering decided to end his recruitment with a commitment to the United State Air Force Academy. A long, lanky, and athletic combo forward, he does a nice job of utilizing his athleticism to make an impact around the rim on both ends of the floor. He flies up and down the floor in transition, is a high level help side rim protector, and can get downhill off the bounce where he finishes with authority at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2636114' first='Christian' last='Humphrey-Rembert']

Humphrey-Rembert finalized his college plans with a commitment to Brown University. At 6'9", he can do a variety of things on the court that most big forwards don't. He's a consistent shot maker from behind the arc, can finish through contact in the paint, and does a good job as a roll or pop man in ball screens. His defensive versatility stands out, as does his ability to move his feet and stay in front of opposing ball handlers.
