As the game went on, Davin started to really establish himself as on of the best players on the floor. He could consistently get by his defender with speed or a dribble combo, and once he touched the paint he was able to make sound reads. He did a great job kicking out to his shooters all game long, whether they hit or miss the shot. Started to make some tough baskets under the rim when he opted to jump off 2 feet. Davin was the clear go-to guard for the team when the pressure was on.

David played very good ball for Boy's Latin during their championship run. Made a lot of three point baskets, was very consistent with his open shooting ability. He was always mixed into the play, knew how to go find the ball. In transition Pridgen was successful due to his effort. He was always flying down beating the defense and ready to finish the play. He made a lot of contested layups both in transition and in the halfcourt. David was the consistent player that the young Latin squad looked for in tight moments. He efforts ended in a bracket championship for the Lakers.

Very impressive ball skills from the senior guard James Stier. James navigated through the pressure defense however he wanted. Could zip into the lane very well and got his shot off plenty of times. Used a nice floater to shoot over the incoming help. When he was left open he knocked down the triple from any spot around the perimeter. Very relentless and energetic player on the floor, the defense will not stop him from getting where he wants and taking the shots he likes. Efficient game from Stier although falling short vs Queen Anne's.

Camari is Baltimore City's very versatile big man. At 6'5" Stewart proved he can put the ball on the floor, move around the whole court defensively, rebound at a high level, and defend with great discipline. Had some possessions where he broke down the defense with a pace-changing move that created space for the short pullup. Good defensive mobility, could guard any position effectively, and defended the rim as well as you could hope for. Very trustworthy with the ball to make the right decision at the right time. Finished inside at a good volume, finishing plays when he was presented the opportunity. He was very adept at using the defensive positioning to his advantage although he was able to move past his defender at any time. He timed his drives to the rim nicely while mixing in some clutch three-point baskets to keep the defense guessing. Had 3 in the first half alone. Finished the game with 23 points and helped out tremendously on the glass, crashing in from the top of Washington's zone defense. Elijah had some big chasedown blocks and deflected many passes in a tough overtime battle vs Delmar (DE).

Chance got things going nicely in the second half for Queen Anne's County. Got out quick in transition and finished multiple breaks with a layup. Once he got comfortable, the shot creation was special to see. He started to drain pullups and C&S 3pt shots, using his slight height and athleticism mismatch to his advantage, hitting shots over closeouts and even taking it inside amongst the help defense. Once Chance started to get to his spots on the floor, things opened up for the rest of the team. He made some nice assists to cutters after adding some baskets of his own and helped close a nice team win over Walkersville.

Babu lit up the three point line in both his games with Maret (DC) at the Gov Challenge. He understand the spots that he needs to fill in order to be most effective for the team. Spaces the floor well and remained ready to shoot off the catch. In his second game he started off strong with 2 straight corner threes that his team needed to jolter things offensively. He is a good positional defender and stays home, doesn't reach in the cookie jar too often. I like the poise in the young freshman's game. He is a very confident and very effective 3&D guy who should see more opportunity and shot attempts over they years. For now he has found a nice role as a hardworking spot-up forward for his team.
